Structure for mounting gasket on block
A structure for mounting a gasket on a block includes a block with a fluid channel and an annular gasket surrounding an opening of the fluid channel. The block has an annular inner wall and an annular outer wall. The annular inner wall is made of resin and located radially outside the opening of the fluid channel. The annular outer wall is made of resin and located radially outside the annular inner wall. The annular inner wall and the annular outer wall allow an axial side of the gasket to be press-fitted therebetween and are elastically deformable in their radial directions.
Modular filtration system and method
A system for further filtering a liquid extract material after an initial extraction process. In an embodiment, the system includes a semi-rigid filter cup that is substantially cylindrical, the filter cup having a top and a bottom, wherein the top is oriented to receive filter media prior to a filtration process, and material to be filtered during the filtration process. The filter cup includes an integrated deformable flange at the top of the filter cup, an integrated top o-ring that is integrated into the top of the integrated deformable flange and an integrated bottom o-ring that is integrated into the bottom of the integrated deformable flange.

GASKET AND FLOW PASSAGE JOINT STRUCTURE
A tapered surface 14 is formed at each axially outer end portion of an inner circumferential surface 3a of a gasket 3 such that a diameter thereof gradually increases from an axially inner side toward an axially outer end thereof in a state before an annular primary sealing portion 11 of the gasket 3 is press-fitted into an annular primary sealing groove 2b of a fluid device 2. A diameter increase starting point P1 of the tapered surface 14 is located in a range R from a deformation starting point position P2 serving as a starting point from which the inner circumferential surface 3a is deformed due to the primary sealing portion 11 receiving external force form the fluid device 2 when the primary sealing portion 11 is press-fitted into the primary sealing groove 2b, to a center position P3 in an axial direction of the inner circumferential surface 3a.

Non-metal gasket
An annular gasket for use between facing flanges of two flow conduit sections, the gasket including an annular gasket substrate made of polytetrafluoroethylene and having a first face opposite a second face. The first face includes a plurality of first serrations wherein the plurality of first serrations includes a plurality of first grooves and a plurality of first peaks, and the second face includes a plurality of second serrations wherein the plurality of second serrations includes a plurality of second grooves and a plurality of second peaks. The plurality of first peaks is aligned with the plurality of second peaks. The plurality of first peaks and the plurality of second peaks are compressible to a substantially flat surface when the conduit sections are joined together in a bolted configuration. An outer guide ring may be positioned exteriorly to the annular gasket substrate.
SEAL ASSEMBLY
In one aspect, an unloaded annular flexible seal is provided to receive an end of a conduit and to provide a seal between the conduit and a flange of a machine. The seal has a base having an inner surface, an upper surface, an outer surface, and a lower surface, and a leg having an inner surface, an upper surface extending from the inner surface of the base, an outer surface extending from the lower surface of the base, and a lower surface. A surface area of the outer surface of the leg is greater than a surface area of the lower surface of the leg. In another aspect, the seal is included in a seal assembly that also includes an annular back-up member having an L-shaped cross section, including a back-up member base and a back-up member leg configured to sit in the groove of the flexible seal.
HOSE COUPLING SEAL
There is proposed an annular seal for a pipe coupling, comprising, a lower portion beatable within an upwardly open annular groove in the pipe coupling, an upper portion having an upwardly facing abutment surface, a depending skirt and a stiffening ring. The depending skirt is configured for engagement over a circular upstand of the pipe coupling, which is located inwardly of the annular groove. The stiffening ring is located within the upper portion of the annular seal, and includes an annular portion that is generally parallel with and spaced apart from the abutment surface and at least one circumferential leg depending from the annular portion that provides reinforcement for the depending leg.
