Coupling nut visible tightness indicator
A fitting assembly configured to visibly indicate nut tightness when coupling a first component to a second component is disclosed. The fitting assembly comprises a nut comprising a threaded portion and a chamber portion, wherein the chamber portion comprises one or more through-holes. The fitting assembly also comprises an indicator slidably disposed within the chamber portion, a retainer assembly disposed within the chamber portion and configured to interlock with an inner surface of the nut, and a spring disposed within the chamber portion between, and engaging, the indicator and the retainer assembly. The retainer assembly is configured to interface with the spring to retain the spring within the chamber portion. The fitting assembly is configured to receive the first component and the second component such that, when the nut is rotated, a visibility of the indicator through the one or more through-holes changes.
Fitting apparatus for connecting pipes
A fitting apparatus for connecting pipes according to the present invention includes a fitting unit which includes a first body into which a first pipe is inserted and a second body which is connected to the first body to form a pipe insertion space therein together with the first body and into which a second pipe is inserted, wherein in the first body and the second body, a first recessed groove and a second recessed groove spaced apart inward from the first recessed groove are formed along an inner circumferential surface thereof, respectively, a compression member which is provided in the first recessed groove to compress and fix the first pipe or the second pipe, and a sealing member which is provided in the second recessed groove to maintain airtightness between the fitting unit and the first pipe or between the fitting unit and the second pipe.
Support ring for tubular press connections and fittings
A support ring for a tubular connection is provided that comprises a body comprising a first end and a second end. A circumferential ring lip extends from the first end of the body and positioned perpendicular to the body. A protrusion is positioned on the body between the first end and the second end. The protrusion comprises a top surface and a bottom surface.
FLUID CONNECTION PORTS
Disclosed herein is a fluid connection port for forming a working fluid connection between a deformable, flexible tube and a fluid handling device, the fluid connection port comprising a bore extending from an exterior surface of the fluid handling device to an internal fluid handling feature, the bore comprising a narrow diameter bore section adjacent the exterior surface of the fluid handling device, a larger diameter bore section adjacent the internal fluid handling feature, and a shoulder separating the narrow diameter bore section and the larger diameter bore section, wherein the diameter of the bore at the narrow diameter bore section is less than the outside diameter of the deformable, flexible tube.
Connector device
A connector device has male and female parts with respective coaxial passageways. An external screwthread of a collet engages an internal screwthread on the female part and relative rotation between those screwthreads causes engagement of the female and male parts. A slot in the collet extends longitudinally and is open at both ends to enable the collet to be splayed as a split collet. A wedge located between the male part and the collet is displaceable longitudinally to splay the collet and lock the male and female parts in a sealing engagement. The connector includes a ring surrounding the end of the collet remote from the engagement between the male and female parts to resist splaying of the collet at that end. The connector without the male and female parts may also be used for connecting other such male and female parts.
Zero dead volume fitting assembly
The disclosure pertains to an assembly for use in connecting tubing to a fitting with zero dead volume.
FERRULE ARRANGEMENTS FOR A CONDUIT FITTING
A preassembly for a conduit fitting includes a fitting nut, a ferrule disposed within the fitting nut, and a retaining feature configured to retain the ferrule with the fitting nut prior to assembly of the fitting nut with a fitting body, such that the ferrule is axially spaced from a drive surface of the fitting nut. When the fitting nut is assembled with a fitting body on a conduit end, axially movement of the ferrule toward the drive surface of the fitting nut causes deformation of the retaining feature to release the ferrule from the fitting nut.
Coupling Nut Visible Tightness Indicator
In an example, a fitting assembly configured to visibly indicate nut tightness when coupling a first component to a second component is disclosed.
PIPE FITTING HAVING ANTI-LOOSENING STRUCTURE
A pipe-fitting includes a plurality of pipe receiving portions, a hollow joint for connecting the plurality of pipe receiving portions to each other, a sealing member received in a sealing member-receiving groove, and a plurality of hollow fixing-caps, wherein each fixing-cap is screwed to a distal end of each pipe receiving portion to press the sealing member to be brought into close contact with each pipe. A fixing-cap stopper is formed on an outer circumferential face of each pipe receiving portion. The fixing-cap stopper includes a fixing-cap fixing portion including a plurality of fixing protrusions protruding toward a proximal end of the fixing-cap. A plurality of fixing-protrusion-receiving grooves is defined in the proximal end of each fixing-cap for receiving the fixing-protrusions therein respectively.
