SPACER
An apparatus comprising an inner part including an external thread and a slot with a non-circular cross section in a plane perpendicular to the screw axis of the external thread. The slot is configured to locate an elongate member with a corresponding non-circular cross section, such that when located in the slot the elongate member is rotatably fixed relative to the slot. The apparatus further comprises an outer part including an internal surface that comprises a threaded portion, wherein the outer part is configured to threadably rotate around the inner part.
UNIVERSAL PIPE SLEEVE JUNCTION FOR AN ASPIRATED SMOKE DETECTION SYSTEM
Methods, devices, and systems for a universal pipe sleeve junction for an aspirated smoke detection system are described herein. In some examples, one or more embodiments include a sleeve body having an outer surface and an inner surface, the inner surface defining an opening through the sleeve body, wherein the sleeve body further includes a first end surface and a second end surface opposite the first end surface, and a nozzle having an outer surface and an inner surface, the inner surface of the nozzle defining an opening through the nozzle and extending through to the inner surface of the sleeve body, where the nozzle opening is configured to couple with a pipe sleeve attachment mechanism.
HOSE, HOSE ARRANGEMENT AND CORRESPONDING PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING A HOSE ARRANGEMENT
A hose (1) having an inner hose (2) from an uncured, thermoplastic material is produced and the inner hose (2) is thermally expanded.
Pump adapter
The present embodiments provide an adapter which may be utilized with traditional in-tank fuel pumps to convert the pump from a first style to a second, alternative style. The instant embodiment utilizes an adapter which slides on the end of an existing fuel pump type and provides indexing for proper alignment and fuel communication. The adapter also allows connection of alternate type of port or fitting in order to allow connection with more desirable type of fuel pickup system. The adapter is then clamped onto the end of the pump once the adapter and pump are indexed to proper alignment for sealing and fuel communication. The adapter may also include a coupling for a fitting to connect additional fuel delivery and/or filtration parts to the pump.
EXPANDABLE CONNECTION FOR EXPANDABLE TUBULARS
One illustrative method disclosed herein includes positioning a first tubular adjacent a second tubular, wherein one of the first and second tubulars includes a plurality of radially deflectable fingers formed in an end thereof, mating the first and second tubulars into mated engagement with one another, wherein, during the mating of the first and second tubulars, the radially deflectable fingers deflect in a radial direction, and expanding the first and second tubulars by forcing an expansion mandrel through the mated first and second tubulars such that the expanded first and second tubulars have an expanded inside diameter that is greater than an initial inside diameter of the first and second tubulars.
Seal element for a pipe joint
An apparatus for connecting two pipes in fluid communication includes a connector body having opposing open ends, with each open end configured for receiving a free end of a pipe, and a mechanical interlock arrangement for preventing or limiting axial movement of the connector body relative to a free end of a pipe when the free end of the pipe is received in an open end of the connector body. A mechanical seal arrangement provides a metal-to-metal seal between a pipe inserted into one of the open ends and the connector body.
JOINT STRUCTURE FOR STEEL PIPES AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A joint structure for steel pipes according to the invention includes a pair of steel pipes having male threads formed at end portions thereof, and a coupling having a pair of sets of female threads formed therein so that the male threads of the pair of steel pipes screw in the pair of the sets of female threads, respectively. Distal end surfaces at the end portions of the steel pipes have inner circumferential edges each protruding in a direction of a pipe axis with respect to outer circumferential edges thereof. When the pair of steel pipes are coupled to each other by the coupling and the inner circumferential edges of the distal end surfaces of the pair of steel pipes are brought into contact with each other, a gap is formed between the outer circumferential edges of the distal end surfaces of the pair of steel pipes.
Connector assembly for connecting pipes
Provided are connector assemblies for connecting pipes. For example, a connector assembly can include a connector formed with a hollow into which a pipe is inserted. A large diameter portion on at least one side of both end portions of the hollow where the large diameter portion is formed has a relatively large inner diameter and a housing space inside. The connector assembly also includes a ring-shaped sealing member provided in the hosing space and a grip member provided adjacent to the sealing member in the housing space. Further, the grip member has a body portion formed to contact an inner circumferential surface of the large diameter portion and a pair of sharp portions formed to be bent from both sides of the body portion and to partially bite into the outer circumferential surface of the pipe by crimping the outer circumferential surface of the large diameter portion.
Device for clamping an element, carriage for a ground drilling device, ground drilling device, method for clamping an element and method for the manufacture of a device for clamping an element
A device for clamping an element includes a pressure chamber having a flexible wall section with an elastic jacket and a rigid wall section that acts as a counter-bearing. The jacket is provided with a contact surface to connect with the element.
OCTG PIPE SYSTEM AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THEREOF
A pipe system for oil country tubular goods (OCTG) and a method of manufacturing the OCTG pipe system is disclosed. The pipe system includes at least one OCTG pipe having a pipe body, the pipe body having at least one connection end formed in unipartite and materially integral manner with the pipe body for coupling to a second OCTG pipe. The OCTG pipe is formed in seamless fashion from a hardenable steel alloy, and the connection end has a yield strength higher than the yield strength of the pipe body.
