Provided is a connector assembly for joining a male member and a female connector member together to secure fluid communication in a fluid line system. The connector assembly includes a cover that is pivotally attached to the housing to conceal verification indicia when the male member is not attached to the housing. The cover configured to pivot relative to the housing to reveal the indicia once the male member is attached to the housing to allow a user or scanning device to view the indicia to verify a secure attachment of the connector assembly.

Connector having a guided pilot

A connector and process for coupling a tube and the resulting assembly is disclosed. A receptacle includes a pilot in a mounting position. The pilot including an indicator piece and guide members each located in a respective channel on the receptacle and slidable within the channels from the mounting position to a final position. A retention clip having legs is urged into a spread condition during a transition between the mounting position and the final position wherein in the final position the legs of the retention clip retract to a relaxed condition, the indicator piece becomes visible on the receptacle and the first and second guide members latch the pilot to the receptacle.

CONNECTING DEVICE WITH CONNECTION INDICATOR

Device for connecting a tube end section, comprising: a tubular body defining a channel provided with retaining means including a hooking element for engaging an outer surface of the tube end section and an annular seal for gripping the outer surface of the tube end section. The device comprises at least a first arm having an end arranged in the channel to be actuated by the tube end section downstream of the retaining means to make a portion of the arm a connection control that which is detectable from outside the body.

CONNECTION DEVICE WITH MOVABLE BUSHING

Disclosed is a connection device for connecting an end section of a tube, comprising: a tubular body defining a channel, holding means for securing the tube end section within the channel in a sealed manner, and a bushing mounted in the channel to slide between a standby position in which the bushing is spaced apart from a stop at its recess within the channel and a recessed operating position in which the bushing presses against the stop. The bushing comprises, downstream from the holding means by reference to a direction of insertion of the end section of the tube into the body, at least one leg arranged to oppose the movement of the bushing toward the operating position and to be retracted by the end section of the tube when the bushing is engaged within the end section of the tube over a predetermined length.

Method of Installing a Pipe Coupling
20230235837 · 2023-07-27 ·

A method of installing a coupling for joining pipe elements uses a pipe coupling having two segments with action surfaces in facing relationship. Attachment elements on each segment, in the form of lugs, accommodate adjustable fasteners which draw the segments together when tightened. Support surfaces on the lugs engage one another and react the fastener force. Stop surfaces are positioned on the lugs adjacent to the support surfaces. Engagement between the stop surfaces provides a visual indication that the coupling has been properly installed.

Quick connection system and method for implementation

A system for quick connection between a female end piece provided with a U-shaped locking clip and a male end piece fitted therein, the wall of the female end piece having opposite slits through which the arms of the U-shaped locking clip protrude into the passage of the end piece and the wall of the male end piece having an outer groove lockably receiving the clip arms in a final fitted state of the male piece in the female piece, locked by the clip. Also included is a part forming a removable prestressing element for the clip with housing sites engaging the two free sections in a first resting configuration, and in at least a second prestressed configuration in which the arms are more separated than in the resting configuration but less than during the passage of the maximum outer section of the male end piece.

UNISEX BALL VALVE COUPLING WITH SAFETY LOCKING MECHANISM

A coupling assembly (10) is reconfigurable among three states. In a disconnected state, a spring-biased lock indicator (20) is in a first lock indicator position, and the lock indicator includes a restriction member (40) that in the first lock indicator position retains an actuator in a first actuator position such that a valve is in a closed position and a locking pin is in a retracted position. In a connected/valve-closed state, the lock indicator (20) is in a second lock indicator position in which the restriction member (40) permits movement of the actuator (30), but with the actuator (30) still being in the first actuator position such that the valve is in the closed position and the locking pin (46) is in the retracted position. In a connected/valve-open state, the lock indicator (20) is in the second lock indicator position to permit movement of the actuator (30), and now with the actuator (30) being in the second actuator position such that the valve is in the open position and the locking pin (46) is in an extended position to lock a second coupling assembly to the coupling assembly to form a unisex coupling connection.

Press fitting device

A press fitting device (1) for establishing a fluid-tight connection with at least one pipe section (10), the press fitting device being configured to generate a sound when a gaseous fluid flows along or through the press fitting device a) in a pre-press fit condition, in which a connection with the at least one pipe section is established and before the connection is press-fit; and/or b) in a press fit condition, in which the connection is press-fit, if the connection is not fluid-tight.

Press fitting for a pipe joint and method for its manufacture

A press fitting for a pipe connection is provided. The press fitting includes a fitting body for connecting the press fitting to a pipe, a press sleeve fixed to the fitting body and having a substantially cylindrical pressing portion and at least one projecting element which delimits the substantially cylindrical pressing portion in the axial direction, and a tubular banderole which surrounds the substantially cylindrical pressing region of the pressing sleeve, wherein the tubular banderole is arranged rotatably relative to a surface of the pressing sleeve, is held in the cylindrical pressing region by the at least one projecting element and is at least partially destroyed when the pressing sleeve is pressed with a pressing tool.
