A FITTING, A METHOD FOR CONNECTING CORRUGATED TUBING TO A FITTING AND USE OF A FITTING
Disclosed is a fitting (1) for use with corrugated tubing (2) having a series of peaks (3) and valleys (4). The fitting (1) comprises a nut (5) having a passage (6) therethrough for receiving the tubing (2) and at least one retainer (7) arranged in the nut (5), wherein the retainer (7) has a retainer sealing surface (8) for placement in a valley (4) of the corrugated tubing (2). The fitting (1) further comprises a body (9) having a pointy annular body sealing edge (10) arranged so that the apex (11) of the body sealing edge (10) is pressed against the retainer sealing surface (8) when the nut (5) and the body (9) are forced toward each other. A method for connecting corrugated tubing (2) to a fitting (1) comprising a nut (5), a retainer (7) and a body (9) and use of a fitting (1) is also disclosed.
SEALING INSERT FOR A CORRUGATED-PIPE SCREW FASTENING SYSTEM, CORRUGATED-PIPE SCREW FASTENING SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR FITTING A CORRUGATED PIPE
A sealing insert for a corrugated-pipe screw fastening system includes a cutout for receiving a corrugated pipe, first and second end faces, a first external wall portion having a first outer diameter, and a second external wall portion having a second external diameter. An internal wall delimiting the cutout includes at least one partially circumferentially extending rib. The first external wall portion is adjacent to the first end face and extends along a longitudinal axis of the sealing insert up to the second external wall portion. The second external wall portion is adjacent to the second end face and extends along the longitudinal axis up to the first external wall portion. The first outer diameter is larger than the second outer diameter. An anti-rotation structure is arranged on an outer shell of the sealing insert. The anti-rotation structure is associated with the second external wall portion.
CLAMP RING TYPE METAL SEALGAS PIPE JOINT
A clamp ring type metal seal gas pipe joint is connected to one end of a gas pipe, and includes a fitting joint, a nut, and a clamp ring. Axial contact surfaces of the clamp ring and the fitting joint are respectively provided with a convex portion configured in a convex V shape and a concave portion configured in a concave V shape matched with each other, so that an end part of the gas pipe is compressed and self-flared to form a sealing part when the fitting joint is tightened. In the process of tightening the nut and the fitting joint, the end part of the metal bellow is compressed and self-flared by the convex portion of the clamp ring and the concave portion of the fitting joint to form a cone surface to realize limit fixation and form a double sealing.
Corrugated pipe gasket
A gasket is adapted for sealing a joint between bell and spigot ends of corrugated pipes. The gasket generally includes a pair of seal lobes which provide a redundant double seal, together with an anchoring portion sized to be received in a trough defined by the pipe corrugation and at least one anti-roll lip adapted to engage the anchoring corrugation.
Press-on duct coupler assembly
A duct coupler has a body with an inner wall with a first channel and a second channel formed in the inner wall, a first seal received in the first channel, and a second seal received in the second channel. The body has a first open end suitable for receiving a first duct therein and a second open end at an opposite end thereof suitable for receiving the second duct therein in longitudinal alignment with the first duct. The first seal is suitable for bearing on an outer surface of the first duct. The second seal is suitable for bearing on the outer surface of the second duct. The body fixedly locks the first and second ducts therein such that the ends of the ducts are adjacent to each other and such that the body forms a liquid-tight seal with outer surfaces of the ducts.
ARC RESISTANT CORRUGATED TUBING SYSTEM WITH PROTECTIVE JACKET AND FITTING
A tubing apparatus includes corrugated tubing including convolutions of peaks and valleys in the body of the tubing; an electrically conductive or semi-conductive, polymer jacket disposed along an exterior length of the corrugated tubing; wherein the jacket provides protection to the inner corrugated tubing from damage resulting from electrical arcing at levels ranging from at least 9 coulombs at a waveform of 10 microseconds×1000 microseconds.
CONNECTING ASSEMBLY FOR A CORRUGATED TUBE
A connecting assembly for connecting to a corrugated tube includes a base body with a receptacle recess for receiving the corrugated tube, and a latching unit which can be introduced through a circumferential opening of the base body into the receptacle recess and which has a latching element carrier and a plurality of latching elements constructed as one piece with the latching element carrier, wherein the latching elements are constructed for the purpose of engaging in a trough of the corrugated tube and to resist a movement of the corrugated tube out of the receptacle. According to the invention, the latching element carrier is constructed as a split ring, wherein the latching elements are arranged uniformly distributed along the circumference of the latching element carrier.
Permanently lubricated film gasket and method of manufacture
A permanently lubricated film gasket for providing a fluid-tight seal between a corrugated pipe and a smooth annular section of an outer pipe or section when the corrugated pipe and the outer pipe or section are in a relative surrounded and surrounding relationship. A first portion of the gasket is shaped to fit within a groove or recess of the corrugated pipe. A second portion of the gasket extends from the first portion. The second portion is at least partially comprised of permanently lubricated film for facilitating in the connection of the pipes along a single direction.
Pipe seal
A seal is provided that includes a body, a left arm extending from the body and having an anti-rotation portion, and a right arm extending from the body and having an anti-rotation portion. The seal further includes a lip extending from the body between the left and right arms. The lip is sized and shaped to contact an inside surface of the socket when the first and second pipes are assembled together.
