DUAL DUCT FLEXIBLE COUPLING APPARATUS AND METHODS OF USE
A flexible dual duct coupling, comprising: a coupling body having an inner flow passage and an outer flow passage therethrough; a first nut assembly configured for reversible attachment to the coupling body; and, a second nut assembly configured for reversible attachment to the coupling body, wherein the second nut assembly is opposite the first nut assembly.
Load bearing flexible conduit
A load bearing flexible conduit system for use in a body of water and adapted for deployment from a reel located on a water going vessel into the body of water is disclosed. The system comprises a number of lengths of load bearing flexible conduit, each length of load bearing flexible conduit provided with an inner layer having a throughbore and a load bearing outer layer. A joint for connecting the lengths together has a body having a longitudinal axis and a throughbore and at least one flexible coupling to permit at least one of the ends of the respective first and second lengths of load bearing flexible conduit to move relative to the longitudinal axis of the joint.
Compliant jumper tube fitting
A compliant jumper tube fitting assembly may comprise an outer housing comprising a first annular cylindrical structure including a first opening defined by a base wall, and an inner housing comprising a second annular cylindrical structure including a second opening defined by an annular wall, wherein the inner housing is configured to generate a seal between an inner diameter wall of the outer housing and an outer diameter wall of the inner housing in response to inserting the inner housing into a mouth end of the outer housing, wherein the inner housing is configured to receive an end fitting and generate a seal between an inner diameter wall of the inner housing in response to inserting the end fitting into the inner housing.
Device for connecting pipe ends of double-walled pipes
The invention relates to a device for connecting pipe ends (80, 82) of double-walled pipes (72, 74) for angular compensation and for length compensation of the relative movements of the double-walled pipes (72, 74) relative to a double-walled connector (10). On the double-walled connector (10), there are arranged concentrically with respect to one another first and second ball heads (20, 26). These are each sealingly engaged over by ball cages (52, 54). The ball cages (52, 54) are formed on double-walled attachments (46) of the double-walled pipe ends (80, 82). The sealing function for double-walled angular compensation and double-walled length compensation are configured so as to be decoupled from one another, and are therefore optimized, in the case of the device proposed according to the invention.
Gimbal clearances optimization system
An apparatus and method for the manufacture and maintenance of flexible joint gimbal systems. The apparatus and method reduce metal corrugated bellows gimbal joint fatigue damage due to loose fitting parts by implementing a spherical washer to reduce clearance in the flexible joint of the gimbal within desired tolerances.
DRAIN SYSTEM WITH A SEAL COMPONENT
A drain system includes a drain body attachable to a subfloor and configured for attachment to a pipe member below the subfloor. A seal component is positionable between the drain body and the pipe member and is arranged to form a seal therebetween. The seal component has a body including open upper and lower ends defining an opening therethrough for receiving a portion of the pipe member. An outer surface of the body defines an interface between the seal component and the drain body arranged to permit a first angular movement between the seal component and the drain body. An inner surface defines an interface between the seal component and the pipe member and is arranged to seal and permit a second angular movement between the seal component and the pipe member, wherein the second angular movement is different than the first angular movement.
Eccentric universal joint mechanism and eccentric universal joint
An eccentric universal joint mechanism, even when there is a lateral displacement between a first pipe and a second pipe, can absorb the displacement and connect the first pipe and the second pipe. The eccentric universal joint mechanism includes: a first sleeve; a second sleeve; and an eccentric universal joint connecting the first sleeve and the second sleeve. The eccentric universal joint includes a first eccentric pipe, and a second eccentric pipe rotatably joined to the first eccentric pipe. A displacement between the center line of the first eccentric pipe and the center line of the second eccentric pipe is determined by the rotational position of the second eccentric pipe.
Gimbal Clearances Optimization System
An apparatus for reducing clearances within a flexible joint gimbal system. The apparatus comprises a washer having a centrally located hole. The washer includes a cylindrical side, wherein the cylindrical side is shaped to contact a side of a ring of the gimbal when the washer is located between a clevis of a gimbal and the ring. The washer further includes a spherical side, wherein the spherical side has a shape that enables the clevis to rotate with respect to the ring about an axis extending centrally through the hole in the washer when the washer is located between the clevis and the ring.
TUBE ASSEMBLY
A tube assembly, in particular for a fluid supply system of a turbomachine, the assembly including a first tube, a second tube, a connection connecting the first and second tube, wherein the connection includes a first sealed spherical joint and a first sealed linear joint.
