MULTIPART PIPE JOINT
The invention relates to a multipart pipe joint (10) having a centre piece (16) on which joint parts (18, 20) are received which are pivotable relative thereto and which are rotationally fixed to the centre piece (16) at articulation points (22, 24). The articulation points (22, 24) of the joint parts (18, 20) on the centre piece (16) also represent articulation points (22, 24) for transmission elements (42) which extend axially along an inner wall (34) of the centre piece (16). The articulation points (22, 24) forming articulation axes are arranged in an axial offset (25) to each other. Furthermore, the invention relates to the use of the multipart pipe joint (10) in an aircraft.
EXPANSION LOOP FOR COPPER PIPING SYSTEM
An expansion loop for a piping system. The expansion loop has a first flexible conduit with a first end and a second end and a second flexible conduit with a first end and a second end. A first rigid conduit is connected between the first ends of the first and second flexible conduits. Additional rigid conduits are connected to both of the second ends of the flexible conduits. These additional rigid conduits include a stainless-steel elbow, a conversion conduit, and a copper conduit. The expansion loop may be installed wherein the flexible conduits are bent, when fluid flows, the flexible conduits straighten out and are not bent.
Articulating flow line connector
An articulating flow line connector for connecting two sections or portions of a flow line, which may be a pressurized flow line. The connector may be configured to provide a sealed connection between the two sections or portions of the flow line, and may provide for a rotating or swiveling connection between the two sections. The articulating flow line connector may generally have a seal carrier ring arranged between two flow lines hubs. Each flow line hub may connect to an end of a flow line section. The seal carrier ring may be configured to provide both a sealing surface and at least one bearing surface. The seal carrier ring may have a sealing flange, a bearing flange, and a web portion extending between the flanges. The connector may additionally have a clamp arranged around or over the seal carrier ring and a portion of the two hubs.
MICROWAVE WITH WATER DISPENSER
An over-the-range microwave appliance includes a pot filler water dispenser for dispensing water to a vessel situated on a cook top below the microwave. The microwave includes a pot filler housing adjacent a cooking cavity that creates a recess into which the pot filler is housed that is not visible from the front of the appliance. The pot filler includes a dispensing hose or conduit that is retractable or retractably mounted within the pot filler housing recess. The dispensing hose is biased into a stowed position and can be pulled against the bias to place the dispensing hose into a deployed condition, thereafter returning to its stowed position.
Fracturing fluid delivery system
A fracturing fluid delivery system is provided. In one embodiment, the system includes a wellhead assembly, a fracturing fluid supply line, a vertical branch extending upward from the fracturing fluid supply line, and a fluid conduit coupling the vertical branch in fluid communication with the wellhead assembly. The fluid conduit may extend linearly from the vertical branch to the wellhead assembly. Additional systems, devices, and methods are also disclosed.
PIPE AND CONTAINER TREATMENT FACILITY COMPRISING SUCH A PIPE
A pipe includes at least one first section connected to a second section by a hinged element allowing a predetermined angular movement of the first section relative to the second section under a predetermined minimum force. The hinged element includes two end pieces connected respectively to the first section and to the second section and hinged with each other to allow the angular movement, and a tube having ends connected to the end pieces so as to be elastically deformable under the predetermined force according to the predetermined angular movement. The sections and the end pieces themselves are rigid under the predetermined minimum force. A treatment facility include such pipes.
SWIVEL BEARING ASSEMBLY
A bearing assembly suitable for a fluid delivery system such as a hydraulic water cannon, including for a first pipe that is moveable relative to a second pipe, the assembly comprising a main body adapted to be connected to an end of the first pipe, an annular centre swivel adapted to be connected to an end of the second pipe, the centre swivel including an annular, axially extending boss extending away from the main body, with the opposed radially extending face extending radially outwardly from said boss, and a bearing end cap adapted to engage around the second pipe and be fastened to the main body securing there between said centre swivel. The bearing assembly is adapted to operate at water pressures greater than 10 bar.
ARTICLES OF MANUFACTURE INCLUDING MACROMOLECULAR BLOCK COPOLYMERS
An article of manufacture includes a macromolecular block copolymer. The macromolecular block copolymer includes a first extruded high molecular weight polymer and a second extruded high molecular weight polymer bonded to the first extruded high molecular weight polymer. The first extruded high molecular weight polymer has a first characteristic rigidity value along a first length, and the second extruded high molecular weight polymer has a second characteristic rigidity value along a second length that is different from the first characteristic rigidity value.
Rotary coupling
A rotary coupling includes an annular outer section which has a female end, a threaded portion, and a Z-ring relief. A connector pipe has a connection end, a shoulder, and a seal end. A Z-ring is housed within the Z-ring relief and packing seals are housed within a packing chamber; and a retainer ring is threadably received into the threaded portion of the outer section. The retainer ring receives compression screws there-through, wherein in the engaged position the compression screws urge a packing end of the Z-ring longitudinally against packing seals thereby compressing the packing seals into the packing chamber creating a seal. The compression screws are movable between an engaged and disengaged position in order that in the disengaged position the compression pressure against the Z-ring and packing seals is released by backing off the compression screws without disassembly of the rotary coupling.
Articulated conduit device
An articulated conduit device may include at least two arms pivotally connected at proximal ends of the arms by a joint, a tiltable adapter at a distal end of each of the arms, capable of tilting up to a predetermined angle, and a locking mechanism operable by a single action to concurrently lock or unlock the arms and adapters in a user-defined orientation and direction. A continuous cavity is defined within the device between external openings in the adapters and through the arms and joint so as to allow fluid to flow between the external openings of the adapters.
