Adjustable multi-port connector and valve
A multi-fitting rotatable fluid connection apparatus comprising a fluid entry fitting and first and second fluid discharge fittings. The fluid entry fitting comprises a first end connector threaded for attachment to a fluid source, and first and second distribution connectors. The first fluid discharge fitting has a first intake connector which receives fluid from the first distribution connector. A first rotation member is coupled between the first intake connector and the first distribution connector such that the first fluid discharge fitting is rotatable about a first axis of rotation. The second fluid discharge fitting has a second intake connector which receives fluid from the second distribution connector. A second rotation member is coupled between the second intake connector and the second distribution connector such that the second fluid discharge fitting is rotatable about a second axis of rotation.
VALVE WITH MOVABLE SHUTTER
A valve having a hollow body which extends along a main axis (X), in which at least one secondary body is arranged at one end of the hollow body substantially coaxial to the main axis (X) and has an inner end portion with a collar protruding towards the inner surface of the hollow body is disclosed. The hollow body has at least one annular groove in which a ring is arranged at least partially to prevent the movement of the secondary body towards the end of the hollow body, in which the ring is divided into at least two arcs configured to be inserted individually inside the groove of the hollow body to form the ring.
Tapping sleeve with bent ends
A method of assembling a tapping sleeve includes positioning an outlet band on a pipe element with an arcuate portion of the outlet band contacting an outer surface of the pipe element, the outlet band including a front end, a back end, a first side end, a second side end, a first bend line defined between the first side end and the second side end and extending from the front end to the back end, a second bend line defined between the first bend line and the second side end and extending from the front end to the back end, wherein the outlet band defines an arcuate portion between the first bend line and the second bend line, a first flange defined between the first side end and the first bend line, and a second flange defined between the second side end and the second bend line.
EASILY POLYMERIZABLE SUBSTANCE HANDLING DEVICE
An easily polymerizable substance handling device is provided that can prevent generation of irregularities and steps between a pipeline and a cover member due to the cover member being installed at an opening part of the pipeline. A cover part 3 is formed to have a curved surface 3a on a side closer to inside of a pipeline 1. The shape of the surface 3a on the pipeline 1 side is preferably a concave shape when viewed from inside of the pipeline 1. The shape of the surface 3a of the cover part 3 on the pipeline 1 side is more preferably the shape of a curved surface having a curvature radius equal or approximate to that of the internal circumference of the pipeline 1. With this configuration, a polymer material is unlikely to be generated at the cover part 3 and around a gap 1b at an opening part 1a, and the frequency of cleaning can be reduced as compared to conventional cases.
Delivery of chemicals
A chemical delivery system connects to a chemical tank and includes a union connected to the tank outlet and providing an antirotation feature, in addition to threads, to prevent rotation of the assembly in response to asymmetric loads. A measuring tube alternately receives liquid from the tank and is isolated from the tank. While isolated from the tank, liquid is withdrawn from the tube by a pump under conditions allowing the pump to be calibrated. The assembly is cantilevered from the tank outlet and is of reduced length and weight producing a device which is not prone to overstress the tank outlet.
TAPPING SLEEVE WITH BENT ENDS
A tapping sleeve includes a first bend line in a planar outlet band between a first side end and a second side end of the planar outlet band, the first bend line extending from a front end to a back end of the planar outlet band, a first outlet flange defined between the first side and the first bend line; a second bend line in the planar outlet band between the first bend line and the second side end, the second bend line extending from the front end to the back end of the planar outlet band, a second outlet flange defined between the second side and the second bend line; and an arcuate portion formed between the first bend line and the second bend line.
Quick connector assembly and device
A quick connector assembly and a quick connector device are disclosed. The quick connector assembly includes a first base, a first fluid interface assembly and a valve assembly. The valve assembly regulates whether a fluid flows through the quick connector assembly or not, and thereby sealing the flow of the fluid at both sides of the quick connector assembly. The quick connector assembly and the quick connector device in an embodiment of the present disclosure can regulate the flow of the fluid effectively and provide better barriers to keep concurrent flows separated and isolated. Especially, the quick connector device can be used in slurry delivery system which has fluid being abrasive fluid or solid contained liquid.
MULTI-FUNCTION T-FITTING
A multi-functional fitting for piping, tubing or other conduit comprises: a body defining a channel between three ports; a test plug at one port; and a secondary valve at a second port. The test plug comprises a self-closing valve. The test plug is configured to receive a tip of an instrument such as a measuring probe. The secondary valve comprises a different valve configuration and is selectively operable between an open and a closed position. Coupling mechanisms are provided at the second a third port. In an example, the coupling mechanisms are different types. The fitting may be T-shaped, Y shaped, shaped or the like. A method is provided to measure a gas property or maintain a sensor processing unit using the multi-functional fitting.
No-crimp valve assembly
A no-crimp valve assembly employs a fitting which has an enlarged outer portion and a coaxial inner portion of reduced diameter. An axial groove is formed between the outer portion and the inner portion for receiving the end of a polymer pipe. A nut retainably receives a split ferrule. The split ferrule has a serrated inner surface. The nut is threaded to the outer threaded surface of the outer portion and the ferrule is compressed against the outer surface adjacent the end of the pipe to form a fluid tight connection and the inner surface of the pipe engages the reduced surface of the inner portion. In some embodiments, the inner portion carries one or more sealing rings or has a serrated or stepped inner surface which engages the inside surface of the pipe.
