The first and second holding devices include a distortion prevention mechanism configured to prevent the anchor from being distorted in the connected condition of the first and second holding devices.
Pipe Support Assembly and Method Of Supporting A Pipe Using Such Pipe Support Assembly
A pipe support assembly comprising: a body having a clamp device adapted to clamp the pipe within an aperture in the body, having first and second clamp arms and a fastening mechanism; a spacer adapted to be received within the aperture in the body having an inner face adapted to engage the pipe and an outer face adapted to engage at least one of the first and second clamp arms, to space at least one of the first and second clamp arms from the pipe. The spacer comprises at least two segments and the aperture is non-circular. Each spacer segment has a first circumferential end and a second circumferential end, and in at least two spacer segments in the spacer, the first circumferential end has a larger radial dimension than the second circumferential end. At least two spacer segments have a tapered arcuate profile between the first and second circumferential ends.
Pre-assembled pipe coupling with an insertion boundary for axial receipt of pipe ends
A pre-assembled pipe coupling includes a gasket, a housing surrounding the gasket, and a fastener. The housing has three segments sequentially coupled to each other to define an insertion boundary. A bridge segment has a first mount extending lateral from the wall and having a plurality of first lateral walls defining a first aperture and a second mount having a plurality of second lateral walls defining a second aperture. A first clamp segment has a first hook disposed in the first aperture. A second clamp segment has a second hook disposed in the second aperture. The fastener is disposed through the first fastener aperture and the second fastener aperture. The fastener has an adjusted length at which the first clamp segment grips the gasket, and the second clamp segment grips the gasket to locate the first sealing lip and the second sealing lip within the insertion boundary.
Structure for mounting retrofit part to cladding member
A structure for mounting a retrofit part to a cladding member may be used to prevent the retrofit part from causing a turn or positional displacement. For example, a clamp structure may include a clamp base and a clamp cover continuous to the clamp base by a hinge. The clamp may further include projections such as spike-shaped portions. The spike-shaped portions are formed and placed on both a mount surface of the clamp base and a mount surface of the clamp cover. The spike-shaped portions may prevent the clamp from causing a turn or positional displacement, and may be each protrusively formed substantially into a pyramid shape with a pointed end. The spike-shaped portions are formed to bite into an exterior surface of a cladding member and that resists external force, such as vibrations, when the clamp is mounted.
ENGINE BLOCK CLAMP ASSEMBLY
An engine block clamp assembly is provided. The engine block clamp assembly may comprise an engine block clamp frame configured to clamp around the axially outward edge of a silicone insert. The silicone insert may comprise a series of apertures configured to removably receive external engine tubes and electrical harnesses. The engine block clamp frame may comprise a tabbed clamp half and a slot clamp half. The tabbed clamp half may have a tabbed end and a mounting end. The tabbed end may comprise a tabbed hinge. The slot clamp half may comprise a slot end and a mounting end. The slot end may comprise a slot. The tabbed hinge may be configured to operatively fit within the slot to couple the tabbed clamp half to the slot clamp half.
HOLDING DEVICE CONNECTING STRUCTURES
A connecting structure of a first holding device and a second holding device that are respectively configured to hold a first elongated member and a second elongated member, may include a cylindrical anchor formed on the first holding device and having an engagement claw, and an insertion hole formed on the second holding device and configured such that the anchor is introduced thereinto and the engagement claw engages a circumferential periphery thereof. The first and second holding devices are configured to be rotated relative to each other about an axis of the anchor in a connected condition of the first holding device and the second holding device in which the engagement claw engages the circumferential periphery of the insertion hole. The first and second holding devices include a distortion prevention mechanism configured to prevent the anchor from being distorted in the connected condition of the first and second holding devices.
