Hydrogen fueling safety indicator
One or more indicators provide an indication of fueling status of a hydrogen powered vehicle. One or more sensors detect temperature and/or other characteristics of the fuel provided to the vehicle and provide an electrical signal to one or more of the indicators to permit an indication of fueling status. The indicators, which may be visual and/or audible, may be positioned on the fueling apparatus and on the vehicle in the vicinity of a fueling receptacle. The indicators may also be positioned elsewhere on the vehicle and may be separate from the vehicle such as on or around a fueling station and/or on separate computerized devices.
GARDEN HOSE WITH METAL SHEATH AND FABRIC COVER
A garden hose has an inner tube for conveying water at domestic water pressure from a first coupler disposed at a first end of the inner tube to a second coupler disposed at a second end of the inner tube, the inner tube being waterproof and flexible, the first coupler adapted to threadedly connect to a conventional water faucet and the second coupler adapted to threadedly connect to a conventional garden appliance. The hose has a metal sheath disposed over the inner tube and extending from the first coupler to the second coupler, the flexible metal sheath having a first shoulder near the first coupler and a second shoulder near the second coupler, the metal sheath being flexible, and a fabric sheath disposed over the metal sheath and fixed to the metal sheath by a first constricting band disposed at the first shoulder and a second constricting band disposed at the second shoulder.
HOSES AND HOSE ADAPTORS
A hose end adaptor for holding an inner component to be nested within an outer tube of a hose includes a first support portion for receiving the outer tube and a second support portion on which a component to be nested within the outer tube is mountable.
PIPE JOINT
To provide a pipe joint that can immediately shut off a hydrogen gas flow path at an initial stage when a plug (nozzle side member) comes out of a socket (filling apparatus side member) to prevent release of outgas. A pipe joint (100) of the present invention includes: a cylindrical nozzle side member (10) with a shutoff valve (5), in the cylindrical nozzle side member (10) being formed a passage (1A); and a cylindrical filling apparatus side member (20) with a shutoff valve (24), in the cylindrical filling apparatus side member (20) being formed a passage (21A), wherein when the nozzle side member (10) and the filling apparatus side member (20) are connected with each other, central axes of the passages (1A, 21A) of the nozzle side member (10) and the filling apparatus side member (20) do not form a same straight line, and the central axes of the passages (1A, 21A) are offset without intersecting, and the shutoff valves (5, 24) of the both members (10, 20) open to communicate the passages (1A, 21A) of the both members (10, 20) with each other, and when the nozzle side member (10) is separated from the filling apparatus side member (20), the shutoff valves (5, 24) of the both members (10, 20) close.
Fluid connection device having a sensor to sense that a male nozzle is received within a female nozzle
Fluid connection device, in particular for a motor vehicle, includes a female nozzle having an internal fluid flow passage, and being configured to receive a male nozzle. A sensor senses that the male nozzle is received within the female nozzle, and an electrical plug electrically connects the sensor to an electrical power source. The sensor includes a flexible, electrically conductive dome located within the female nozzle. In a first position, the dome has a generally curved shape. When the male nozzle is inserted into the female nozzle, the male nozzle presses the dome to deform the dome into a second position. In the second position, the dome has a generally flattened shape and provides an electrical connection between two terminals connected to the electrical.
Enclosed hose end thread protector
Hose end protector intended to be carried on the end of a hose so as to surround and completely enclose the threaded coupling for its protection. The protector includes an elastic body having been secured by a retaining ring on a solid fitting adapted to engage with the hose. The fully enclosed protector protects the threaded coupling from damage, prevents debris and small objects from entering hose, and provides a method of diffusing flow, and is used as a means of handling hose.
Fluid supply apparatus
To provide a fluid supply apparatus capable of preventing inconveniences cause by cut of a signal line when a filling hose is separated through an emergency separation pipe joint. The fluid supply apparatus (100: fluid supply apparatus for supplying fluid such as hydrogen gas and gasoline) includes a supply system for transporting fluid such as hydrogen gas and gasoline in a housing main body while measuring flow rate of the fluid; a control mechanism for controlling the supply system; a hose (2) introduced from the supply system and having a nozzle (1) at an end thereof; and a signal line (3) along the hose (2), wherein the signal line (3) is detachable.
Garden hose with metal sheath
A garden hose with an outer flexible sheath of spirally wound and linked turns of sheet material, an inner tube of flexible polymer inside the sheath and end couplers with nipples press fit into ends of the tube and connector mechanisms connecting the couplers to the outer sheath. Each connector mechanism has inner and outer press fit shells at the end of the sheath, with flared ends separated by a washer.
Hoses and hose adaptors
A hose end adaptor for holding an inner component to be nested within an outer tube of a hose includes a first support portion for receiving the outer tube and a second support portion on which a component to be nested within the outer tube is mountable.
