INSULATED SUBASSEMBLY
An insulated subassembly for connecting pipelines, containing two insulating half shells made from an insulating plastics, in each case a housing half shell surrounding an insulating half shell, wherein the housing half shell surrounds the outer peripheral surface of the insulating half shell, and at least one hinge connecting the housing half shells, wherein the insulated subassembly contains at least one coupling, preferably quick couplings, positively surrounded by the insulating half shells, and integral closure elements are arranged on the housing half shells.
SWIVELLING COUPLING WITH EXTERNAL SEALING ELEMENT
A coupling for providing a connection and establishing fluid communication between fluid lines is provided. The coupling includes a housing defining an internal cavity with an open end, and a male component engageable within the internal cavity through the open end. The male component has a shank portion adapted to engage a fluid line. The coupling also has a nut securable to the housing and adapted to surround a portion of the shank portion and radially and axially restrain the shank portion within the internal cavity. The nut is further adapted to allow the male component to rotate with respect to the housing and the nut about a longitudinal axis of the shank portion. The coupling further includes a sealing ring provided about the shank portion which is adapted to at least partially block axial and radial movement of the male component relative to the nut and the housing.
Locking assembly for a measurement system
The present disclosure is, in one aspect, directed to a locking assembly for securing a sample tube assembly to a sample manifold of a measurement system. The locking assembly includes a ramp block having one or more slots defined therein and configured to at least partially receive a portion of the sample tube assembly. The ramp block also includes a plurality of surface features defined therealong and configured to engage and move the sample tube assembly toward and into engagement with the sample manifold. The ramp block further is movable between a plurality of positions including an open position for allowing the sample tube assembly to be received through the one or more slots or openings, and a closed position substantially sealing the sample tube assembly against or within the sample manifold. Other aspects also are described.
Mechanical Outlet
A mechanical outlet forms a Tee joint by using a strap to cinch a pipe element to a saddle having a duct. One end of the strap and saddle are attached via an adjustable fastener. Angularly oriented action and reaction surfaces on the saddle and strap engage one another when the fastener is tightened to place a tensile load on the strap which substantially conforms to the pipe element and compresses it against the saddle. The opposite ends of the strap and saddle engage one another via a yoke and enlarged head, allowing those ends to be disengaged to permit insertion of the pipe element between strap and saddle.
HIGH VOLTAGE BATTERY COMPONENT AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLING A HIGH-VOLTAGE BATTERY COMPONENT
A high-voltage battery component includes a connection device for connecting a coolant line for a coolant to a heat sink of a high-voltage battery. The connection device has a connection part, which is connectable to the heat sink, and a sealing element arranged at the end of the connection part for providing a seal between the connection part and the heat sink. The connection device includes a spreading part, which is movable relative to the connection part. The spreading part, by pushing into the connection part, can be transferred from an insertion position for inserting the connection part into the heat sink into a sealing position. In the sealing position, the spreading part spreads the sealing element radially outward such that the sealing element can be placed in a sealing manner against the heat sink when the connection part is plugged into the heat sink.
FLUID CONNECTOR WITH SLIDABLE MEMBER
A connector is provided comprising first and second hollow bodies with a fluid transfer member, slidably arranged between the first and second hollow connector bodies.
FLUID CONNECTOR
A connector is provided comprising first and second hollow connector bodies, the connector having a first expanded position providing a first fluid flow path through the first hollow connector body, and a second collapsed position providing a second fluid flow path through the first and second hollow connector bodies.
A Self Locking and Sealing Pipe Tapping Means
The invention is a tapping assembly for use on a pipe or tank. It includes a hollow body that sits flush on the outer wall of the pipe or tank and includes a plurality of locking members that sit flush within the body and form a threaded portion into which a cap is inertable. Each locking member extends into the interior of the pipe or tank, and has an outwardly extending flanged portion that engages with the inner sidewall of the pipe or tank. When the cap is tightened against the body, it causes each of the locking member to retract, thereby causing the respective flange portions to lock the assembly against the pipe or tank wall. The assembly can be manufactured to provide either an orthogonal tap, or an angled tap, relative to the longitudinal axis of the pipe, or plane of the tank sidewall.
CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY FOR COUPLING A VESSEL TO A FLUID TUBE
An assembly, connector and method is disclosed for making a fluid connection between a vessel wall and a fluid tube. The assembly includes a male connector having a cylindrical body and an internal fluid passage through the male connector between a head portion located at an upper end of the male connector and a base portion on a lower end of the male connector. An aperture is formed on the vessel wall and at least first and second recesses are formed along an edge of the aperture. The base portion has at least first and second locking members located in a spaced relation to the other on opposite sides of the base portion and a sealing flange extends circumferentially about the base portion. The base portion is arranged to be installed in the aperture with each locking member accepted within a respective recess. Rotation of the male connector causes the locking members to rotate within the aperture and seal the sealing flange against the wall. A female connector connected to the fluid tube is installed on the male connector head portion.
PIPE MOUNT
A pipe mount for connecting pipe sections is disclosed. The pipe mount comprises a sliding member movably attached to a plumbing arrangement element. The sliding member extends in the vertical direction of the plumbing arrangement element, and it is vertically movable between an extreme position and a second position. The pipe mount further comprises at least one pipe bracket for securing the pipe sections onto the sliding member. A system and a method for connecting pipe sections are also disclosed.
