FLUID COUPLINGS
20230235841 · 2023-07-27 ·

Some fluid coupling devices described herein are configured as non-spill fluid couplings. In addition, some embodiments described in this document relate to fluid coupling devices that are constructed modularly, and to modules that can be universally incorporated into the construction of multiple different types of fluid couplings. Further, fluid handling component coupling members are described.

Quick connection system and method for implementation

A system for quick connection between a female end piece provided with a U-shaped locking clip and a male end piece fitted therein, the wall of the female end piece having opposite slits through which the arms of the U-shaped locking clip protrude into the passage of the end piece and the wall of the male end piece having an outer groove lockably receiving the clip arms in a final fitted state of the male piece in the female piece, locked by the clip. Also included is a part forming a removable prestressing element for the clip with housing sites engaging the two free sections in a first resting configuration, and in at least a second prestressed configuration in which the arms are more separated than in the resting configuration but less than during the passage of the maximum outer section of the male end piece.

Aseptic fluid couplings
11566736 · 2023-01-31 · ·

Some fluid coupling devices described herein are configured for use in fluid systems for purposes of providing a single-use, aseptic disconnection functionality that substantially prevents fluid spillage when being disconnected. In some embodiments, the coupling portions cannot be reconnected to each other after being disconnected from each other.

HYDROGEN FILLING RECEPTACLE

A hydrogen filling receptacle to which a nozzle is to be connected and which includes: a passage for hydrogen which is formed thereinside and has a diameter D5 (mm) of at least 3.7 mm; a depression part on part of an outer periphery thereof which has a diameter of D3 (mm); and a step part between a back end and the depression part, the step part having an outer diameter smaller than D1 (mm) and larger than the D3 (mm) when a side of the hydrogen filling receptacle where the nozzle is to be inserted is defined as a front end, an opposite side thereof is defined as the back end, and an outer diameter of the back end is defined as the D1 (mm), wherein the D1 (mm) is larger than D4 (mm) when an outer diameter of the front end is defined as the D4 (mm).

IN-LINE QUICK CONNECTOR
20230027286 · 2023-01-26 · ·

This disclosure relates to an in-line quick connector. A female connector body is arranged to receive a male connector body in an interior cavity. The male connector body includes a bifurcated tubular member that includes resilient latching arms co-operable to engage latching members located within the interior cavity of the female connector body. The male connector body and female connector body each further include a raised annular flange. Fixed key members located on the male connector body flange engage slots located on the female connector body flange.

Fluid Connector With Expansion Ring

An expansion ring for a fluid connector including a including a first end, a second end, a radially outward facing surface, and a through-bore, wherein the expansion ring is slidably engaged with the connector body.

PIPE UNION ASSEMBLY
20230220934 · 2023-07-13 ·

A pipe union assembly that includes a female end of a first pipe section and a male end of a second pipe section. The pipe union assembly also includes a quick union nut securable to the female end, a retainer collar securable to the quick union nut and a segmented load ring disposed between the male end of the second pipe section and the quick union nut. The quick union nut, the retainer collar and the segmented load ring cooperate to maintain the male end of the second pipe section inside the female end of the first pipe section. A method of using the pipe union assembly to join a first pipe section and a second pipe section.

Systems and methods for a connector assembly

A connector assembly is provided. The connector assembly includes a connector body, a movable component selectively movable between an uninstalled state and an installed state, a digital tag, and a digital blocker. When the movable component is moved from the uninstalled state to the installed state, the digital blocker is moved relative to the digital tag from a position where the digital tag is blocked by the digital blocker to a position where the digital tag is unblocked by the digital blocker, thereby providing a digital indication of a successful connection between the connector body and the movable component.
