Quick connect for hose system
Method and system are provided for a quick connector for coupling conduits. The quick connector comprises a first piece including a first slot group, a second piece including a second slot group and a first protrusion group counterpart to the first slot group, and a third piece including a second protrusion group counterpart to the second slot group, where each slot of the first slot group angles in a first direction, and each slot of the second slot group angles in an opposing, second direction. In one example, the quick connector may include a locking mechanism and a feedback system.

When the engagement feature is in the engaged position, the body flange and the disposer body are engaged, forming a combined disposer and body flange assembly. The combined disposer and body flange assembly can be lifted into alignment with the strainer flange assembly and rotated as a unit to engage the body flange with the mounting flange.

A first spacecraft comprises a drive mechanism. A second spacecraft comprises a valve for filling/draining the second spacecraft. The coupling assembly comprises a first connector comprising an actuating member configured to engage and open the valve and a coupling member configured to couple to the drive mechanism. A second connector comprises a stop portion and a bore for transferring fluid. Operation of the drive mechanism rotates the coupling member and the second connector together to screw the second connector onto the valve until the stop portion engages the valve, the actuating member being prevented from moving relative to the second connector to open the valve whilst the lock is in the locked state. Once the stop portion engages the valve, operation of the drive mechanism to exert a torque on the coupling member greater than a predetermined torque level moves the lock to an unlocked state wherein the actuating member is moveable relative to the second connector to engage and open the valve.

The retainer has an open condition in which a pipe is insertable, and a closed condition. The retainer also has a channel arranged, in the closed condition, to capture the lug arrangement.

A pneumatic valve adaptor includes a fast-releasable gas source connector, which includes a top source piece and a rotatable joint, the and at least one valve coupler. The top source piece is connected to a top end of the rotatable joint for receiving and feeding gas supplied from a gas source into the rotatable joint. The rotatable joint has a lower edge in which at least one first engagement section is formed. The valve coupler is provided, at a lateral external surface and a lower end, with at least a second engagement section and a valve connection section. The second engagement section is engageable with or disengage able from the first engagement section through rotation of the rotatable joint. The valve connection section is connectable to a pneumatic valve of an inflatable object for supplying and feeding the gas from the gas source into the inflatable object for inflation.

The present invention relates to a multi-coupling device of the plate type for the simultaneous connection of a plurality of hydraulic, electric and pneumatic lines through quick couplings. The device according to the present invention is characterized in that it comprises bayonet coupling means which allow the coupling of the two plates by means of the relative sliding of the mobile plate with respect to the fixed plate. By virtue of the presence of a dedicated hydraulic circuit which connects the female couplings of the fixed plate to one another, the multi-coupling device according to the present invention allows to separate the step of coupling of the plates from the step of hydraulic connection of the male and female couplings.
