Mechanical branch outlet

A mechanical branch outlet includes: a housing defining: an outer surface; an inner surface; and an outlet bore extending between the outer surface and the inner surface; an insert defining: a wall; an axis; a rim extending radially outward from the wall with respect to the axis, the rim being a flange; a first end extending from the rim in a first axial direction aligned with the axis; and a second end extending from the rim in a second axial direction opposite from the first axial direction; the first end received fully within the outlet bore of the housing; the outlet bore of the housing configured to slidably receive the second end and retain the first end, an outer diameter of the rim being greater than an outer diameter of the second end.

Tubular connector

A connector includes a connecting body with a fluid passage at least part way therethrough, and a seal is provided with an outer portion of a fluid tube. A cartridge proximate to the connecting body has a hollow portion therethrough. A grab part has at least one tooth to retain the fluid tube and is between the cartridge and the seal. A demount part within the hollow portion moves the teeth to allow release of the fluid tube. A latch is located on one of the connecting body or a sleeve covering at least part of the cartridge or the connecting body. A mating catch is located on the other of the sleeve or the connecting body, and engagement of the latch with the catch connects the sleeve to the connecting body and helps restrain cartridge movement.

TUBE FITTING

A fitting body includes a tubular end whose outer periphery has an external thread and whose inner periphery has an annular groove or protrusion. A sleeve connects a tube to the tubular end of the fitting body. A union nut includes a first axial end that receives the tube therein and a second axial end to be screwed onto the external thread of the fitting body. The fitting body includes first and second regulating portions extending in directions that intersect an axial direction of the fitting body to contact the union nut being screwed onto the external thread and then sharply raise torque to be transmitted through the union nut to a hand of a worker. When being screwed onto the external thread, the union nut contacts the first regulating portion and subsequently the second regulating portion.

DRAIN COUPLING FOR ELECTRICAL CONDUITS
20220385051 · 2022-12-01 ·

A drain coupling adapted to connect to two electrical conduits to facilitate a drainage of condensate formed inside the electrical conduits is provided. The drain coupling comprises a tubular portion defining an elongated channel and having a first end defining a first opening adapted to connect to a first electrical conduit, and a second end arranged opposite to the first end and defining a second opening adapted to connect to a second electrical conduit. A drain tube is arranged substantially centrally to the tubular portion and extending substantially perpendicularly to the tubular portion. The drain tube includes an inlet opening at an interface of the tubular portion and an outlet opening at a second free end of the drain tube, thereby facilitating a fluid connection of a drain passage of the drain tube with the elongated channel. A guard is arranged inside the tubular portion and partially covering the inlet opening of the drain tube. The guard may be positioned at an interface of the drain tube with the tubular portion and covering the inlet opening.

SANITARY SINGLE-USE PROCESS CONNECTION WITH INTEGRAL WET STORAGE FOR USE WITH PROCESS SENSORS

A process fluid connector for a single-use process fluid sensing system is provided. The process fluid connector includes a pair of process fluid connections, each process fluid connection being configured to couple to a cooperative process fluid coupling. A process fluid conduit section is operably coupled to each of the process fluid connections. A sensor attachment port is coupled to the process fluid conduit section and is configured to receive and mount a process fluid sensor. A retractable fluid chamber is coupled to the process fluid conduit section and configured to provides wet storage for sensing component(s) of the process fluid sensor. A process fluid sensing system using the process fluid connector is also provided.

Fitting for preventing distortion

Various fittings capable of preventing distortion are disclosed. The fitting comprises a metal member configured to have at least two sub metal members and a body. Here, the sub metal members are included in the body, and the body is formed of plastic.

Device for increasing flow capacity of a fluid channel

A fairing, in the form of a contoured restriction, submerged on a fluid channel surface of a fluid channel through which liquid flows, re-distributes velocity fields and flow geometries upstream and in some embodiments downstream of a discontinuity, thereby preventing flow separation, reducing cavitation potential and increasing flow capacity. Such discontinuities include, but are not limited to: joints, for example elbow joints, T-joints and Y-joints; valve-trims; entrance regions to centrifugal pumps; and entrance regions to rotary valves, steps, reductions, expansions and ledges. The fairing may be fitted into the channel or integrally fabricated with the channel.

Waste Pipe Fitting Assembly
20220356975 · 2022-11-10 ·

A waste pipe fitting assembly includes a tee wye fitting that has an outlet, a first inlet and a second inlet. The outlet is fluidly connectable to a sewer line of a sewer system. The second inlet is fluidly connectable to a drain pipe to place the drain pipe in fluid communication with the sewer line thereby draining water from the drain pipe into the sewer line. A pair of hangers is each of the hangers is coupled to the tee wye fitting and each of the hangers engages a respective support for suspending the tee wye fitting from the supports. Moreover, each of the hangers engages the respective support at an adjustable height to inhibit fluid from collecting in the tee wye fitting.

Connection assembly, in particular for conducting aqueous urea solutions

A connector arrangement for conducting liquid urea solutions. The connector arrangement includes a distributor, with at least three connecting elements, and a connecting component, located between the connecting elements, with inner channels running within the connecting component.
