HVAC MODULAR UNIFORM DUCT SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USE
A heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) duct system which includes, at least in part, one or more modular, uniform, pre-manufactured duct elbow elements having two faces of two sizes. Each elbow provides a twenty-two and a half degree (22.5°) bend in a duct system. When combined, the elbow sections can provide forty-five (45°) degree bends or ninety (90°) degree bends, or even offsets within a duct system. Due to the size and shape of the elbows, multiple elbows can be nested within one another for easy packing and shipping.
Fluid equalisation for multiple compressors
A method of manufacturing a suction pipe for a multi-compressor device having a plurality of inlets, the suction pipe comprising a primary portion and a plurality of secondary portions arranged to receive fluid from the primary portion for supplying fluid in parallel to the inlets of a multi-compressor device. The method includes designing the suction pipe by: selecting a first dimension for the primary portion of the suction pipe, calculating a first fluid velocity for fluid in the primary portion based on the first dimension, and comparing the first fluid velocity to a first predetermined threshold; selecting a second dimension for the secondary portions, calculating a second fluid velocity for fluid in the secondary portions based on the second dimension, and comparing the second fluid velocity to a second predetermined threshold; and calculating a ratio of the first fluid velocity to the second fluid velocity.
Pre-assembled coupling assemblies with pipe fitting
A sprinkler configured for engagement with a coupling, the sprinkler includes a raised lip end, the sprinkler defining a raised lip at the raised lip end; and a deflector end disposed opposite from the raised lip end, the sprinkler defining a groove between the raised lip and the deflector end.
FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEM PIPE FITTINGS
A fire protection system can include one or more pipes coupled with a fluid source, a pipe fitting coupled with the one or more pipes downstream of the fluid source, and at least one sprinkler coupled with the one or more pipes and the pipe fitting. The pipe fitting can include a wall defining an opening, the wall having an outer diameter, a first wall thickness at the opening, and a second wall thickness inward from the opening, the second wall thickness greater than the first wall thickness. The at least one sprinkler can be coupled with the one or more pipes and the pipe fitting to receive fluid from the fluid source through the one or more pipes and the pipe fitting.
Three-way clamp and connector prefabricated component including clamp
A three-way clamp includes a first clamp shell and a second clamp shell capable of being connected to or detached from each other. Each of the first clamp shell and the second clamp shell includes three engaging portions. The engaging portion includes an accommodating cavity. The two clamp shells are respectively provided with an engaging claw and an engaging groove. A connector prefabricated component including the clamp includes a connecting pipe fixed in the clamp body, wherein the accommodating cavity is provided with a sealing component for sleeving pipe opening. During construction, a straight pipe to be connected is inserted into the sealing component. Then the clamp body is tightened, and the sealing component tightly presses on a pipe body of the straight pipe to achieve sealing.
INSULATED SUBASSEMBLY
An insulated subassembly for connecting pipelines, containing two insulating half shells made from an insulating plastics, in each case a housing half shell surrounding an insulating half shell, wherein the housing half shell surrounds the outer peripheral surface of the insulating half shell, and at least one hinge connecting the housing half shells, wherein the insulated subassembly contains at least one coupling, preferably quick couplings, positively surrounded by the insulating half shells, and integral closure elements are arranged on the housing half shells.
Continuous fiber reinforced composite and metal electrofusion coupler
Disclosed embodiments provide an electrofusion pipe coupler with mechanical support. The electrofusion pipe coupler comprises a coupler housing. A wire is configured and disposed within the housing. Electrodes are affixed to the coupler housing and in electrical contact with the wire. A threaded pattern is formed in an outer surface of the coupler housing. Gripping wedges are affixed to the coupler housing. Each gripping wedge extends from the coupler housing. A nut is attached to the coupler housing, engaging with the threaded pattern, and compressing the wedges against the connecting pipes. This serves to provide axial load transfer from the connecting pipes to the coupler housing via the wedges, thereby providing improved mechanical stability for such pipe assemblies.
Connecting piece for a fuel injector of an internal combustion engine
The invention relates to a connecting piece for a fuel injector of an internal combustion engine comprising at least one high-pressure input port and at least one high-pressure output port, wherein the high-pressure input port and the high-pressure output port open into an internal high-pressure accumulator of the connecting piece and/or the injector via separate high-pressure feed channels.
Universal pipe sleeve junction for an aspirated smoke detection system
Methods, devices, and systems for a universal pipe sleeve junction for an aspirated smoke detection system are described herein. In some examples, one or more embodiments include a sleeve body having an outer surface and an inner surface, the inner surface defining an opening through the sleeve body, wherein the sleeve body further includes a first end surface and a second end surface opposite the first end surface, and a nozzle having an outer surface and an inner surface, the inner surface of the nozzle defining an opening through the nozzle and extending through to the inner surface of the sleeve body, where the nozzle opening is configured to couple with a pipe sleeve attachment mechanism.
Drain-pipe interface device
A drain-pipe interface device is disclosed. The drain-pipe interface device may include a hollow profile defining a threaded portion located on an outer surface the hollow profile. The threaded portion is configured to engage with an opening associated with a drain-pipe, to couple the drain-pipe interface device with the opening. The drain-pipe interface device may further include a handle provided on the hollow profile. The handle may be used to rotate the drain-pipe interface device couple with the opening.
