HYDRAULIC FITTING, AND APPLICATIONS THEREOF IN ROBOT SYSTEMS
In an implementation, a hydraulic assembly comprising an end section of a hydraulic hose formed from a volume of material, the end section having a first outer diameter and an open end, is formed by molding a flange in the end section of the hydraulic hose, and threading an annular gasket onto the end section of the hydraulic hose between the flange and the open end of the hydraulic hose, and adjacent to the flange. The flange is formed in the volume of material, and has a second outer diameter greater than the first outer diameter. The molding of the flange may include applying heat to a mold, inserting the open end of the end section of the hydraulic hose into the mold, and thermally deforming a portion of the end section of the hydraulic hose to form the flange.
HYDRAULIC FITTING, AND APPLICATIONS THEREOF IN ROBOT SYSTEMS
In an implementation, a method of forming a hydraulic connection between a hydraulic component and a hydraulic hose includes threading a ferrule onto an end section of the hydraulic hose, crimping the ferrule to the hydraulic hose, and threading an annular gasket onto the hydraulic hose between the ferrule and an open end of the end section of the hydraulic hose. The method may include securing the hydraulic hose to a body of the hydraulic component by forming a seal between the body and the hydraulic hose by compression. Threading the ferrule onto the hydraulic hose may include threading an annular ferrule having a profile of a first truncated cone with a first half-aperture, and urging the ferrule towards an interface in the body of the hydraulic component, the interface having a profile of a second truncated cone with a second half-aperture different from the first half-aperture.
NIPPLE ASSEMBLY
A nipple assembly includes nipple bodies configured so that one end portion of each of the nipple bodies is inserted into a housing so as to be coupled to a cooling medium inlet or a cooling medium outlet of a heat exchanger and a remaining end portion of each of the nipple bodies protrudes outwards from the housing, at least one first sealing unit sealing a gap between the one end portion of each of the nipple bodies and the cooling medium inlet or the cooling medium outlet, a flange portion formed at a position between two end portions of each of the nipple bodies to be coupled to the housing, and a second sealing unit including a first sealing portion sealing a gap between the flange portion and the housing and a second sealing portion configured to extend from the first sealing portion.
FEATURE FOR SAFEGUARDING FASTENER CLAMP-LOAD ON METAL SEAL
A block fitting assembly includes a first block, a second block, and a first sealing element disposed between the first block and the second block. A clamping device applies a clamping force for compressing the first sealing element between the first block and the second block in an axial direction of the block fitting assembly. A first heel structure projects axially from one of the first block or the second block and projects towards the other of the first block or the second block. The first heel structure is configured to be spaced apart from or to contact the other of the first block or the second block depending on a temperature of the first block.
MODULAR CONNECTOR SYSTEM CONFIGURED FOR SETTING VERTICAL OR HORIZONTAL PIPING OR PREFAB ASSEMBLIES IN PLACE PRIOR TO WALL CONSTRUCTION
A modular connector system is designed and configured for setting various building material members in place prior to construction of a wall. The modular connector system includes a base plate, a vertical riser member, at least one horizontal arm, and a connection member for each of the at least one horizontal arms. The base plate is configured to support the modular connector system. The vertical riser member is affixed to the base plate in a vertical orientation. Each of the at least one horizontal arm is configured to be adjustably positioned along the vertical riser member. The connection member on each of the horizontal arms is configured to attach to one of the building material members. Wherein, the disclosed modular connector system is designed and configured for setting the building material members in place prior to construction of the wall.
CONNECTING ASSEMBLY FOR A GAS COOKING APPLIANCE
Connecting assembly of a gas cooking appliance that includes a flexible tube and a connector fixed to a first end of said flexible tube, the connector being configured to be directly connected to an opening of a manifold of the gas cooking appliance.
FLOW-UNDISRUPTED PROCESS
The present flow-undisrupted process includes: enclosing a portion of an existing pipe with a sealing case; connecting a boring machine to the sealing case in a non-valve state in which no operation valve is interposed between a projecting pipe portion of the sealing case and the boring machine; forming a circular opening in an area of the existing pipe corresponding to the projecting pipe portion by means of a hole saw of the boring machine; rotating a tee and the boring machine in a circumferential direction of the existing pipe to a position at which the projecting pipe portion is completely past the opening; after the rotation, maintaining a sealed state in which the seal packing prevents a pressure of a fluid inside the existing pipe from being applied to the projecting pipe portion; and removing the boring machine from the projecting pipe portion in the sealed state.
PIPE HOLDING CONNECTION STRUCTURE AND HIGH FREQUENCY ANTENNA DEVICE INCLUDING THE SAME
Provided is a pipe holding connection structure configured so that the width of the entire structure is reduced and so that the number of parts and the number of assembly work processes are reduced. This pipe holding connection structure is provided with: a housing affixed so as to air-tightly close the opening of a vacuum container; a first pipe having a portion near an end portion thereof extending through both the opening and the housing; and a second pipe having a female thread part engaging with a male thread part located at the end portion. The pipe has a locking part. Fluid is caused to flow through both the pipes. Pieces of packing are provided between the pipe and the housing and between the pipe and an end portion of the pipe, respectively. This pipe holding connection structure can be used for a high-frequency antenna device.
Lubricator with interchangeable ports
A lubricator is provided which has a unitized body with at least one port in communication with the body's bore and its outer surface, to which port(s) connectors with different outer fittings for further connection to other equipment may be attached and sealed, and later detached and replaced with other connectors. The connectors may have different outer fittings or may be a plug or valve. This allows the connection of a single port to external equipment to be changed and the fitting for that external equipment's connection to be altered, without having to disconnect the lubricator from its well-head and stem or any of the lubricator's other connections.
MANUFACTURING PROCESS FOR FORMING A SHARP FEATURE IN AN AXIAL SEALING FLUID TRANSPORT FITTING
A coining apparatus for forming a sealing surface in an end portion of a tube includes an inner portion having a first bead forming surface and an outer portion having a second bead forming surface. The outer portion is arranged concentric to the inner portion with a radial gap formed therebetween. The first bead forming surface and the second bead forming surface each lead towards the gap and are tapered in opposing radial directions. The radial gap provides a pathway for a flow of deformed tube material or a flow of fluid during the formation of an engaging bead in the sealing surface as caused by engagement of the first bead forming surface and the second bead forming surface with the end portion of the tube. The formation of the engaging bead via the coining process results in at least a portion of the engaging bead being work hardened.
