Pre-stressed concrete pipe
A pre-stressed concrete pipe is made by casting a concrete pipe inside a metal cylinder and then being pre-stressed by injecting solidifying compound under pressure into the boundary between the metal cylinder and concrete pipe, and includes a pair of end rings within the metal cylinder, each having a metal ring with an annular groove and an elastic band having a curved end to provide a rounded corner on the concrete pipe. After the solidifying compound is solidified, the concrete pipe retains the compression increasing its strength to withstand pressure, and moments caused by external loads. The pre-stressed concrete pipe further includes a bell ring mounted at one end and a spigot ring having a gasket ring at the other end. A bell clamp is mounted on the bell ring.

Sealing profile for embedding into a moulding of curable material
A sealing profile for embedding into a moulding of curable material, in particular a concrete or plastic moulding, and to a sealing arrangement comprising such a sealing profile. The object of the present invention is to provide a sealing profile for embedding into a moulding of curable material that can be anchored into the moulding in particular such that displacements of the seal in its seat occur to a significantly lesser extent, if at all, when installing or assembling the mouldings. The object is achieved by a sealing profile (1) with a profile region (2) having a profile region surface (4) which is directed towards the moulding (3) after embedding the sealing profile (1), wherein the profile region (2) has, at least in one subregion (6), a non-woven, felted or random fibre layer (5) which is fixedly connected to the sealing profile (1) and which extend beyond the profile region surface (4).
COLLAR
In one embodiment there is provided a collar to secure a glass component that has a smooth tubular end. The collar being configured to prevent a gas and liquid from leaking from the glass component. The collar has a base with a circular side wall extending from the base. A pair of channels with O-rings are secured into the interior surface of the circular side wall. The O-rings are configured in size such that when the smooth tubular end of the glass component frictionally slips into the first opened end of the collar, the pair of O-rings frictionally engages the smooth tubular end to prevent a leaking of gas or liquid. The collar also has a bore defined through the base with threads to secure in concert with a one or more threaded connectors.
HYBRID METALLIC/COMPOSITE TUBE DESIGN TO TRANSFER BENDING, AXIAL, AND FLEXURAL SHEAR
A tube arrangement includes a composite tube defining a centerline axis, wherein the composite tube comprises a proximal surface and a distal surface, and an end fitting comprising a first end disposed within the composite tube and a second end extending from the composite tube, wherein an outer surface of the end fitting defines a flared portion defining a terminus of the first end, a lobe portion disposed axially from the flared portion, and a terminating portion disposed axially from the lobe portion, the proximal surface conforms to a geometry of the outer surface of the end fitting, the lobe portion and the flared portion mechanically lock the end fitting to the composite tube to mitigate movement of the end fitting relative to the composite tube.

Fluidic fitting with integral face seal
A fitting for a fluidic coupling includes a tube assembly that includes an inner tube, an intermediate tube formed of a polymeric material and disposed over at least a portion of a length of the inner tube, and an outer tube formed of a metal and disposed over the intermediate tube. The inner tube has an inner tube endface and a first fluid channel. The intermediate tube includes an extruded portion having a length and an intermediate tube endface. The outer tube has an outer tube endface and an outer surface. First and second radial crimps are formed on the outer surface at first and second distances from the outer tube endface and extend for first and second axial lengths, respectively. The inner and outer tube endfaces are co-planar and the intermediate tube endface is separated from the inner and outer tube endfaces by the length of the extruded portion.
Interior texturing and self-aligning connector system for a spray chamber
A spray chamber is disclosed, wherein the spray chamber includes textured interior portions (e.g., textured inner walls and/or textured surfaces of one or more components within the spray chamber) to prevent droplets from building up on interior surfaces of the chamber as such build up can result in poor measurement performance. Wettability is improved by texturing one or more of the interior surfaces, and as a result, the interior surfaces can shed moisture more easily, thereby preventing droplet buildup. A connector system is also disclosed to provide self-aligned coupling between an exit port of a spray chamber and an input tube of an injector. The connector system allows the spray chamber to be quickly and accurately coupled to the injector by simple mating of the two components.
System and Method for Producing Chemicals at High Temperature
A system for producing chemicals, such as, ethylene or gasoline, at high temperature (above 1100 degrees C.) having a feedstock source. The system includes a chemical conversion portion connected with the feedstock source to receive feedstock and convert the feedstock to ethylene or gasoline. The conversion portion includes a coil array and a furnace that heats the feedstock to temperatures in excess of 1100 C. or 1200 C. or even 1250 C. or even 1300 C. or even 1400 C. A method for producing chemicals, such as ethylene or gasoline, at high temperature.
