CLOSURE FOR PRESSURE VESSEL OR PIPELINE
A closure is provided for a pressure vessel or pipelines that can provide quick and easy access to the interior of a pressure vessel or pipeline, and means for a pressure tight seal between the hub and door. The closure can incorporate means for mechanically fastening the door to the hub using an external split clamp ring actuated by a toggle mechanism. A locking mechanism can be provided to safeguard against unintended closure actuation, and provides a layer of redundancy to the holding characteristics of the toggle mechanism. The locking mechanism can be interlocked to a pressure alert system to ensure any differential pressure condition contained within the closure is detected prior to disengaging the locking mechanism and actuating the toggle mechanism.
Hydrant nozzle cap adapter
Example aspects of a nozzle cap adapter, a nozzle cap assembly, and a method for method for mounting a nozzle cap to a fire hydrant nozzle are disclosed. The nozzle cap adapter can comprise an adapter ring defining a first adapter ring end, a second adapter ring end opposite the first adapter ring end, and an interior void extending from the first adapter ring end to the second adapter ring end; a nozzle connector extending from the second end of the adapter ring, the nozzle connector configured to rotatably engage a fire hydrant nozzle; and a latch coupled to the adapter ring and configured to removably lock the nozzle cap adapter onto the fire hydrant nozzle.
Tubular connector
A connector includes a connecting body with a fluid passage at least part way therethrough, and a seal is provided with an outer portion of a fluid tube. A cartridge proximate to the connecting body has a hollow portion therethrough. A grab part has at least one tooth to retain the fluid tube and is between the cartridge and the seal. A demount part within the hollow portion moves the teeth to allow release of the fluid tube. A latch is located on one of the connecting body or a sleeve covering at least part of the cartridge or the connecting body. A mating catch is located on the other of the sleeve or the connecting body, and engagement of the latch with the catch connects the sleeve to the connecting body and helps restrain cartridge movement.
UNIVERSAL CAPS FOR THE LOW AND HIGH SIDE REFRIGERANT SERVICE PORTS OF AN AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM
A universal cap configured for sealing a refrigerant service port of an air conditioning system includes a cap body with a closed end and a connection end. The connection end is configured to attach and seal the cap body to a universal quick disconnect exterior of the refrigerant service port. Wherein the universal cap is designed and configured to prevent refrigerant from leaking from the refrigerant service port. Wherein the closed end of the cap body does not include any holes, openings, or fittings, wherein the only hole, opening or fitting of the cap body is via the connection end.
HYDRANT NOZZLE CAP ADAPTER
A nozzle cap adapter includes an adapter ring defining a first adapter ring end, a second adapter ring end opposite the first adapter ring end, and an interior void extending from the first adapter ring end to the second adapter ring end; a nozzle connector extending from the second adapter ring end of the adapter ring, the nozzle connector configured to rotatably engage a fire hydrant nozzle; and a latch coupled to the adapter ring and configured to removably lock the nozzle cap adapter onto the fire hydrant nozzle; a gasket housing extending into the interior void and defining a gasket groove, the gasket groove facing the second adapter ring end; and a gasket disposed within the gasket groove and configured to abut an end of the fire hydrant nozzle.
COUPLER CAP AND QUICK COUPLER HAVING THE SAME
Proposed herein is a coupler cap and a quick coupler having the same, which can improve coupling power when the cap is coupled with the male coupler and maintain the coupled state with no gap so as to protect the coupler more perfectly. The coupler cap includes: a cap body having one side, which is opened and has a receiving hole so that a male coupler is inserted into the cap body in an axial direction, and the other side, which is closed; a handle connected to the cap body to be rotatable in a radial direction as an axial line; and a stopper moved rectilinearly in the radial direction of the cap body by rotation of the handle.
QUICK DISCONNECT ADAPTER
A fitting assembly includes a fitting comprising a housing and a connector assembly arranged within the housing. The connector assembly comprising a hollow interior and configured to be movable between an unactuated position and an actuated position. In the actuated position, the connector assembly is connectable to a pipe receivable within the hollow interior. An adapter coupled to the fitting includes a biasing mechanism configured to bias the connector assembly from the actuated position to the unactuated position.
Fixtures for pipe installation, sealing and security
These fixtures aid in installing, sealing and securing pipe. Specifically, the invention aids in mating bell & spigot joints and securely capping open pipe ends of standard polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyethylene (PE), and acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) pipe products as well as non-plastic piping by enabling equalized full circumference pressure on pipe ends to nudge, seal and/or secure pipe ends during installation or decommissioning.
ARRANGEMENTS FOR BLANKING A COUPLING MEMBER
An assembly 10 includes a coupling member 12 having a first annular, radial connection flange 22 and a blanking cap 14 comprising a disc-like member 30 which defines a second, corresponding annular, radial connection flange 34. The connecting flanges are clamped together by a clamp (16) with a seal member 18 in-between. The blanking cap comprises a pair of safety lugs 62 attached to the disc-like member which each extend about an outer circumferential periphery of the first connection flange 22. Each safety lug has an abutment 68 for engagement with the first connection flange to limit axial movement of the disc-like member away from the coupling member. The lugs 62 prevent the blanking cap from flying off in the event the clamp is released whilst the interior of the coupling member is pressurised. The lugs 62 may each have a stop member 66 which defines the abutment and which may take the form of an elongate curved member extending circumferentially about an axis of the connection flanges. The clamp may be tri-clamp.
PLUMBING FITTING
A push-to-connect fitting is provided. The push-to-connect fitting includes a connector body, a sealing member, a grab ring, a cartridge, a retainer sleeve, a plurality of latches, and an interference portion. The sealing member is configured to form a sealing engagement with a fluid conduit. The grab ring includes a plurality of teeth configured for coupling to the fluid conduit. The retainer sleeve is received over at least part of the cartridge and is received over at least part of the connector body. The plurality of latches are located on the retainer sleeve and are configured to secure the retainer sleeve to the connector body to facilitate retention of the sealing member, the grab ring, and the cartridge. The interference portion is configured to engage the retainer sleeve to substantially prevent rotation of the retainer sleeve relative to the connector body.
