Stitched double layer composite hose and manufacturing method thereof
A stitched double layer composite hose is provided. The stitched double layer composite hose includes a middle fabric pipe layer, an inner surface composite colloid material layer and an outer surface composite colloid material layer. The structure of the fabric pipe layer is weft-stitched double-layer unit structure. The double-layer unit structure includes an outer layer, an inner layer and stitched wefts. The inner layer includes inner layer warps and inner layer wefts; the outer layer includes outer layer warps and outer layer wefts. The stitched wefts interweave with the outer layer warps and the inner layer warps for conjoining the inner layer and the outer layer together. The fabric pipe layer weaved solves problems of the stitched double layer composite hose in the fabric pipe layer of traditional casing, with such advantages as high flexibility, less weaving point, less loss of yarn strength and less degree of torsion.

An assembly for supporting a bent pipeline section wherein the assembly comprises a base and a pair of arms extending from the base, wherein each arm comprises a respective clamping collar for clamping a bent pipe section between the arms. A vehicle for induction heating a bent pipeline section, wherein the vehicle comprises: a helical induction coil; and wheels arranged to guide movement of both ends of the induction coil through a tubular inside face of a bent pipeline section.
Metal pipes with anticorrosive polyolefin covering layer
The present invention provides a metal pipe coated on at least a section of the metal pipe with a polyolefin coating system, wherein the system consists of the following layers: (a) optionally, a corrosion protective layer of a chromate, phosphate or other salt; (b) a polyolefin based adhesive, preferably in a thickness of 0.3-5 mm; (c) a PE or PP coating layer, preferably in a thickness of 1-10 mm; (d) optionally, an adhesion promoting layer between the polyolefin based adhesive and a PE or PP layer; wherein the polyolefin based adhesive contains an organic phase consisting of substantially saturated hydrocarbons, and wherein the adhesive contains amorphous polypropylene, ethylene-propylene copolymers or poly(iso)butylene (co)polymers, said adhesive being flowable when a pressure of 10 kgf/cm.sup.2 is applied, wherein the PE or PP coating is a continuous layer over the coated section, and wherein said polyolefin based adhesive adheres to both the metal pipe and to said PE or PP coating.
METAL PIPES WITH ANTICORROSIVE POLYOLEFIN COVERING LAYER

Girth Weld Coater
A girth weld coating machine has an application head rotatable about a pipeline. A reservoir of coating material is carried on the application head and progressively dispenses coating material on to the girth weld. The coating material is applied to the pipe surface by a roller to spread and distribute the coating over the surface.
Thermoplastic Vulcanizate Compositions and Thermoplastic Olefinic Compositions as Insulating Layers in Non-Flexible Pipes
In an embodiment is provided a composition having a thermal conductivity of less than 0.2 W/m-K, the composition including a rubber and a thermoplastic olefin. In another embodiment is provided an insulated high-temperature transport conduit that includes a continuous steel pipe comprising one or more pipe sections, wherein the steel pipe has an outer surface and an inner surface; and a first thermal insulation layer disposed over the outer surface of the steel pipe, wherein the first thermal insulation layer comprises a composition having a thermal conductivity of less than 0.2 W/m-K, the composition comprising a rubber and a thermoplastic olefin.
