Flange joint assembly for flammable liquid
A flanged fitting includes an annular fitting flange having an annular end face. A glass liner lines a radially inner annular portion of the annular end face of the annular fitting flange. A radially outer annular portion of the annular end face of the annular fitting flange is free from the glass liner. The radially inner annular portion and the radially outer annular portion of the annular end face of the annular fitting flange define an annular gasket abutment face configured to seat a gasket thereon. An annular gasket includes an annular gasket layer. The annular gasket layer includes a radially inner annular gasket segment including a first material suitable for forming a liquid-tight seal with an opposing flange. A radially outer annular gasket segment surrounds the radially inner annular gasket segment. The radially outer annular gasket segment is fire-rated for forming a fire-rated seal with the opposing flange.
Fitting for preventing distortion
Various fittings capable of preventing distortion are disclosed. The fitting comprises a metal member configured to have at least two sub metal members and a body. Here, the sub metal members are included in the body, and the body is formed of plastic.
Polymer-Lined Fluid Transmission Line
A polymer-lined fluid transmission line includes various structures, including a first polymer-lined pipe, a second polymer-lined pipe, and one or more sleeve retainers installed at a pipe junction between the polymer-lined pipes. Among other things, the sleeve retainers may include one or more protuberances to frictionally engage the polymer-lined pipes or a one or more portions that protrude into a space between the polymer-lined pipes to help retain and protect polymer sleeves.
TRANSITION COMPONENT HAVING INSULATION
A transition component for connecting components of a chemical or process engineering plant, wherein the transition component has a first material piece made from a first material and second material piece made from a second material, wherein the first material and the second material cannot be connected to each other by fusion welding, the first material piece and the second material piece forming a hollow body, the transition component having a radially interior inner side and a radially exterior outer side, the first material piece being connected to the second material piece by at least one intermediate material layer and the transition component having at least one insulation layer, wherein the insulation layer extends at least in part over the inner side and/or the outer side of the transition component, and a core-in-shell heat exchanger and a cold box having the transition component.
FLEXIBLE HOSE END FITTING ASSEMBLY
A flexible hose end fitting assembly includes a first portion defining a first fluid passageway and having a first end configured for coupling to a fluid conduit, a second portion defining a second fluid passageway and having a first end configured for coupling to a second end of the first portion and a second end configured for securely affixed to a flexible hose. A gasket is disposed in a groove formed in an interface between the first portion and the first end of the second portion of the assembly, and the first portion and the first end of the second portion of the assembly are securely fastened together by a plurality of threaded fasteners to form a continuous fluid passageway between the fluid conduit and the flexible hose.
Irrigation pipe assembly
An irrigation pipe assembly that utilizes a pipe that is made of a durable material, e.g., stainless steel or aluminum. During fabrication, the pipe is equipped with a plurality of components, i.e., a flange assembly, a truss mount, and an outlet, without drilling, welding, or the like. In this manner, a method of fabrication is provided that enables a plurality of components to be assembled to the pipe without compromising the integrity of the pipe material or treated surface so that galvanizing or painting is not required after the plurality of components have been fitted to the pipe.
Irrigation pipe liner
A pipe liner for lining a fluid-carrying pipe, the pipe liner comprising an elongated flexible conduit and a flexible flange. The flexible conduit includes an outer wall forming an open-ended central channel for allowing fluids to be pumped therethrough. The flexible flange extends radially from one end of the elongated conduit and includes a number of fastener holes. The flexible conduit and the flexible flange are configured to be collapsed and pulled through the pipe such that the flexible flange can be connected to a rigid flange of the pipe via the fastener holes. The pipe liner is less prone to leak and is easier to transport and install.
PIPE CLEANING ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF CLEANING A PIPING SYSTEM USING THE SAME
A pipe cleaning assembly has a connection fixture having a body defining a cavity. A first aperture, opposing first auxiliary aperture coaxially aligned with the first aperture, second aperture, and opposing second auxiliary aperture coaxially aligned with the second aperture are in fluid communication with the cavity. A first connection flange extends from and surrounds the first aperture, a second connection flange extends from and surrounds the second aperture, a third connection flange extends from and surrounds the first auxiliary aperture, and a fourth connection flange extends from and surrounds the second auxiliary aperture. A first valve is connected to the third connection flange to control fluid flow through the first auxiliary aperture.
