HIGH THERMAL TOLERANCE FLEXIBLE SUPPORTS
Methods and systems are provided for a flexible support for a vehicle. In one example, the flexible support is formed of a composite material and configured to surround a vehicle component and absorb oscillations generated by the vehicle. The composite material may be a mixture of aluminum particles dispersed in an elastomer matrix.
A FIRE RESISTANT VENTILATION DUCT AND A METHOD OF MANUFACTURING AND INSTALLING SUCH VENTIALTION DUCT
A ventilation duct for a fire rated ventilation duct wall penetration has one or more metal sheets forming said duct, wherein said metal sheet duct is covered on the outside by a heat insulating material, and said duct includes elongated stiffening members located on the outside of the duct and attached to said metal sheets. The stiffening members each comprises a metal profile and at least one non-combustible bar of inorganic material. The metal profile is fixed to the metal sheet of the duct and retains the non-combustible bar by at least partly encircling the bar.
LNG TANK AND SYSTEM FOR CONNECTING AT LEAST ONE PIPE BETWEEN AN LNG TANK AND A TANK CONNECTION SPACE THEREOF
An LNG tank is a single-shell LNG tank having one shell and at least one pipe extending from the LNG tank to a tank connection space of the LNG tank. The shell of the LNG tank is substantially surrounded by insulation. The LNG tank has at least one bellow connection surrounding at least part of the length of the at least one pipe for connecting the at least one pipe extending from the LNG tank to the tank connection space. A system for connecting at least one pipe between an LNG tank and a tank connection space thereof is also provided. At least one pipe extends from the LNG tank to the tank connection space and which LNG tank is a single-shell tank having one shell. The at least one pipe is connected between the LNG tank and the tank connection space by at least one bellow connection.
Chilled beam installation system and method
A chilled beam includes a body having a first side and a second side opposite to the first side. The chilled beam also includes a first mounting bracket coupled to the first side and configured to rotate against a first bias of the first mounting bracket in response to a first force against the first mounting bracket. The chilled beam also includes a second mounting bracket coupled to the second side and configured to rotate against a second bias of the second mounting bracket in response to a second force against the second mounting bracket.
ARRANGEMENT FOR ADJOINING A SUPPORT STRUCTURE TO A PIPE
An arrangement for use in adjoining a support structure to a pipe that passes through the support structure. The arrangement comprises a mount attachable to the support structure. Radial bellows are connected to the mount. The bellows are arranged in use to extend circumferentially around a pipe and be connectable thereto such that a volume is defined by the bellows, mount and pipe.
REFRIGERATION APPLIANCE HAVING CABLE BUSHING
A refrigeration appliance has a refrigeration chamber, a thermal insulation layer, and a wall extending between the refrigeration chamber and the thermal insulation layer. A pipe support is integrally formed with the wall and surrounds an opening in the wall. A line extends through the pipe support. An elastic sleeve has a first end section, fixed on a free end of the pipe support, and a second end section, abutting the line.
PIPING SYSTEM AND PROCESSING APPARATUS
A piping system includes: pipes, each of which is covered with a heat-insulating member and through which a cooling medium flows; and a heat transfer member arranged between two heat-insulating members of two of the pipes adjacent to each other. The heat transfer member includes: a contact portion configured to be in contact with the two heat-insulating members; and a heat-receiving portion including a heat-receiving surface configured to be in contact with outside air outside of the pipes, and configured to transfer heat, which is received from the outside air on the heat-receiving surface, to the contact portion.
Penetration seal system and methods
A penetration seal and its installation method for use with a pipe extending through an opening, or penetration, in a vessel, such as a boiler, containing fluid. A first collar surrounds the pipe adjacent the vessel and is in fluid communication with the opening in the vessel. A second collar has a sleeve portion engaging the exterior of the pipe and is spaced from the first collar. An insulation pillow substantially surrounds the pipe and is connected to the first and second collars. An expansion sleeve substantially surrounds the insulation pillow and is connected to the first and second collars, wherein the sleeve portion of the second collar is configured to compressively engage the exterior surface of the pipe sufficiently to frictionally fix the second sleeve against movement relative to the pipe.
The chilled beam also includes a second mounting bracket coupled to the second side and configured to rotate against a second bias of the second mounting bracket in response to a second force against the second mounting bracket
