Pipe with an outer wrap
This disclosure relates generally to corrugated pipe, and more particularly to corrugated pipe with an outer wrap. In one embodiment, a pipe includes an axially extended bore defined by a corrugated outer wall having axially adjacent, outwardly-extending corrugation crests, separated by corrugation valleys. The pipe also includes an outer wrap applied to the outer wall. The outer wrap may include fibers and plastic. The outer wrap may span the corrugation crests producing a smooth outer surface.
Glass tube element with improved quality
A glass tube element having hollow cylindrical section that has a shell enclosing a lumen and extends along a main extension and an optical delay of a light ray. The shell has a surface facing away from the lumen. The optical delay has values that all fall within a range having a size of between 3 and 30 nm. The optical delay being an optical measurement of the glass tube element by the light ray extending along a measurement path in a direction of perpendicular to the main extension and tangent to a surface of the shell. The measurement path touches the surface for different measurements at different positions each having a different azimuth angle within a cylindrical coordinate system fixedly attached to the glass tube element and having an origin on a center axis of the glass tube element.

Fully visual flow loop system for studying hydrate blockage
The present invention discloses a fully visual flow loop system for studying hydrate blockage. The fully visual flow loop system includes a first pipeline, a second pipeline, a third pipeline and a fourth pipeline connected successively in an end-to-end way; a single screw pump is connected between the first pipeline and the fourth pipeline from the four pipelines; the first pipeline, the second pipeline, the third pipeline and the fourth pipeline are all transparent to light; a plurality of CCD cameras are arranged between the first pipeline, the second pipeline, the third pipeline and the fourth pipeline; and, the fully visual flow loop system is arranged in a stepping low-temperature thermostatic chamber; a solution injection system can inject a solution into the fully visual flow loop system; a separation and collection system can separate and recover the solution; and a data acquisition system can integrate sensor information in all the other systems and give real-time feedback to ensure reasonable and coordinated operation of all systems. The fully visual flow loop system for studying hydrate blockage in the present invention can realize full visualization and real-time monitoring of the flow loop system.
MULTIPLE-USE DRINKING STRAWS AND THEIR PRODUCTION
The present invention deals with a tube (1) with a tube base body (2) which consists of glass, wherein at least the inside of the tube base body (2) is at least partially covered a hydrophobic coating (3). The use of such tubes (1) as drinking straws leads to multiple use, ecologically friendly drinking straws which meet hygienic requirements and have a good cleanability. The present invention also deals with a process for producing such tubes.
NOZZLE HEAD, CLEANING SYSTEM, METHOD FOR CLEANING AND GLASS ELEMENT
At least one glass element includes: a first end; a second end; and a hollow portion including a first end section including the first end of the at least one glass element, a middle section, and a second end section including the second end of the at least one glass element. Each section has an inner surface and an outer surface and all sections are of equal length. A ratio of a number of particles on the inner surface at the first end section and/or the second end section to a number of particles on the inner surface at the middle section is 20 or less.
