The present disclosure relates to a holding device and a holding method that enable an object, such as a mobile terminal, to be held more stably.

The present disclosure includes a first member and a second member that slides telescopically with respect to the first member. People could not only place a heavy object on the top of sixpod but also place such a heavy object on the position which is as high as the length of three rods inside of two columns.
