The lighting device also includes an illumination assembly having a light source configured to emit light beyond the housing to illuminate a surrounding area, and a power source disposed within the housing and operably coupled to the illumination assembly. The multi-positional assembly is movable between a retracted position and a deployed position that improve the utility of the portable lighting device.
