POSITIONING APPARATUS FOR PHOTOGRAPHIC AND VIDEO IMAGING AND RECORDING AND SYSTEM UTILIZING THE SAME
A method and device are provided for positioning a mounted camera. The device includes a holding element that secures the mounted camera to the device, a wireless linkage at which remote attitude commands representing attitude changes of a remote driver are received, a local controller that interprets the remote attitude commands and generates local attitude commands that move the camera to mimic an orientation of the remote driver, and an attitude sensing element that senses a local attitude of the device. The attitude sensing element includes a gyro, an accelerometer, or a magnetometer, and jitter present in the remote attitude commands is removed and not passed on to the local attitude commands.
Systems and methods for a self-stabilizing platform
A platform to be used to secure objects for delivery by air. As a platform is lowered toward the ground, the legs of the platform touch the ground and interact with each other to stabilize the platform. A stable platform does not tip over. The platform may stabilize itself even when lowered onto uneven terrain. As the platform is lowered, the legs, except the last leg, move upward or inside the body of the platform until the last leg touches the terrain. On uneven terrain, the legs of the platform move upward or inside different amounts, so the legs have different lengths. The last leg to touch locks the other legs so that they cannot move up or down thereby stabilizing the platform. An incompressible material is used to detect when the last leg touches the terrain and to lock the other legs.
ADJUSTABLE HOLDER
A holder for utensils is manually adjustable, and capable of supporting a plurality of utensils in a range of positions from an upright position through an inverted position. The adjustments are incremental. The holder can be attached or mounted to a surface using a suction cup or through use of adhesive or other types of attachment methods. The utensils can be make up make up brushes, toothbrushes or paintbrushes, or other implements.
MAGNETIC SOFT STOPS FOR GIMBALS
A gimbal arrangement includes a static structure, a gimbal supported for rotation relative to the static structure, an actuator operably connected to the gimbal and configured to rotate the gimbal relative to the static structure, and a magnetic soft stop. The magnetic soft stop is connected between the static structure and the gimbal to limit rotation of the gimbal relative to the static structure to within a predetermined range. Sensor systems and imaging methods are also described.
Carrier-assisted tracking
A method includes receiving selection of a target within an image captured by an image sensor of a payload and displayed on a user interface of the payload, detecting a deviation of the target from an expected target state within the image, generating, based at least partly on the deviation, a payload control signal including a first angular velocity for rotating the payload about an axis of the carrier to reduce the deviation about the axis in a subsequent image, and generating a base support control signal including a second angular velocity for rotating the payload with respect to the axis. When the first and second angular velocities are received, the carrier is controlled to rotate the payload at a third angular velocity about the axis. The third angular velocity is the first angular velocity, the second angular velocity, or a combination of both.
REEL ASSEMBLY WITH RETRACTABLE SENSOR ARM FOR AN AGRICULTURAL HEADER
A reel assembly for an agricultural header includes a reel arm configured to couple to a frame of the agricultural header and configured to support a reel of the reel assembly. The reel assembly further includes a device mounting assembly movably coupled to the reel arm and configured to support a device that is configured to monitor a terrain feature. The device mounting assembly is configured to move between an extended position and a retracted position relative to the frame to move the device between a first position corresponding to the extended position of the device mounting assembly and a second position corresponding to the retracted position of the device mounting assembly. The device mounting assembly is configured to enable the device to monitor the terrain feature at the first position and the second position.
REEL ASSEMBLY WITH RETRACTABLE SENSOR ARM FOR AN AGRICULTURAL HEADER
A reel assembly for an agricultural header including a reel arm configured to rotatably couple to a frame of the agricultural header and configured to support a reel of the reel assembly. The reel assembly further includes a device mounting assembly coupled to the reel arm and configured to support a device that is configured to monitor a terrain feature. The device mounting assembly is configured to maintain an orientation between the device and a ground on which the agricultural header is positioned as the reel arm rotates relative to the frame of the agricultural header.
Gimbal for image capturing
A method of stabilizing a payload fitted in a carrier includes providing a first carrier component of the carrier, supporting a second carrier component of the carrier using the first carrier component, and supporting a third carrier component of the carrier using the second carrier component. The first carrier component is configured to permit rotation of the payload about a pitch axis. The second carrier component is configured to permit rotation of the payload about a yaw axis. The third carrier component is configured to permit rotation of the payload about a roll axis and connects to the payload.
ADJUSTABLE DISPLAY MOUNTING SYSTEM
A mounting system capable of mounting objects to support structures is disclosed. The mounting system includes a wall mount including a display bracket configured to hold the object, a fixed support bracket couplable to a vertical support structure, and a linkage assembly. The linkage assembly has a low-profile stowed configuration in which the object is held in a raised position close to the support structure. The linkage assembly moves to another configuration to move the object. The object can be held in a lowered position. A biasing mechanism can facilitate convenient movement of the object.
DISPLAY MOUNTING SYSTEM WITH ADJUSTABLE WEIGHT COUNTERBALANCE
A mounting system capable of mounting objects to support structures is disclosed. The mounting system includes a wall mount including a display bracket configured to hold the object, a fixed support bracket couplable to a vertical support structure, and a linkage assembly. The linkage assembly has a low-profile stowed configuration in which the object is held in a raised position close to the support structure. The linkage assembly moves to another configuration to move the object. The object can be held in a lowered position. A pinion adjustment mechanism can be used to control a biasing mechanism for facilitate convenient movement of the object.
