Physical stand for multiple device orientations and peripheral card reader

There are provided systems and methods for a physical stand for multiple device orientations and peripheral card reader. A device stand may include a dock that allows for placement and securing of a computing device within the device case, such as through a locking or connecting mechanism. The device dock further includes a peripheral component, such as a physical card reader, that allows for reading and entry of card data into the computing device for use with an electronic transaction processing application on the computing device. This allows the computing device to process transactions electronic with an online service provider. Further, the device stand includes a hinge or joint that allows for rotating and inverting of the computing device over a curved extension from a base of the device stand, which allows the computing device to be viewed in multiple directions and orientations.

Vacuum sucker and suction device comprising the same

A vacuum sucker is installed on a robotic arm to suck an object. The robotic arm includes a body and a tip axis. The tip axis is disposed with an adapter plate. The vacuum sucker includes a housing, an actuator, and a flexible suction cup. The actuator passes through the housing and includes a main part, a thrust rod, and an elastic element. The main part has a first end and a hollow slot. The flexible suction cup is sleeved on the first end and is formed with an air chamber. When the thrust rod is located at the first position, the air chamber and the hollow slot are not intercommunicated with each other. When the thrust rod is driven by the adapter plate to move to a second position, the air chamber and the hollow slot are intercommunicated with each other.

Visual display stand

A visual display stand is shown and described. The display stand comprises a thin aluminum member that slopes downward and away from a display to which it is attached to a horizontal base section that rests on a support surface. The horizontal base is spaced apart from the screen in a direction away from the rear of the display. A rear support member is also provided but is concealed from view when looking at the screen side of the display. As a result, when the stand is attached to display and viewed from the front, it gives a gravity defying appearance because it appears that the weight of the monitor should cause the stand to tip over. Alternatively, the second member may be removed, and the display may rest against a wall.

DISPLAY DEVICE

A display device is provided. The display device includes a screen body, a first angle adjustment mechanism, a connecting arm, a second angle adjustment mechanism, and a pedestal. The screen body is provided with a first set of positioning holes and a second set of positioning holes. A first angle adjustment mechanism is selectively connected to the screen body through the first set of positioning holes or the second set of positioning holes, so that the screen body is disposed vertically or horizontally. The first angle adjustment mechanism is pivotally connected to the connecting arm, so that the screen body and the connecting arm are rotatable relative to each other. The second angle adjustment mechanism is pivotally connected to the connecting arm and the pedestal, so that the connecting arm and the pedestal are rotatable relative to each other.

Shimbari systems for the stabilization of surfaces

Based on the traditional shimbari principle, new methods for precise positioning and support of shimbari rods utilizing a modular aluminum framing system have been developed. With these innovations, a wide range of three-dimensional works of art can be treated, including large-scale sculptures with complex contours and irregular surfaces. These methods and systems include easily adaptable shimbari clamping devices and pivot mounts developed by a team of conservators and an industrial designer-fabricator in the Department of Objects Conservation at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Equipment mounting assembly

A mounting assembly includes a base; a post extending from the base, the post defining a vertical axis; a beam mounted on the post and being pivotable about the vertical axis, the beam comprising a first portion extending in a first horizontal direction and terminating in a first end, and a second portion extending in a second horizontal direction opposite of the first direction and terminating in a second end; an equipment mounting bracket at the first end; a latch along the beam and having an engaged position and release position, wherein in the engaged position the latch prevents the beam from pivoting; and a latch release along the second portion of the beam. A method of accessing equipment mounted on the mounting assembly includes actuating the latch release such that the latch moves from the engaged position to the release position; and rotating the beam about the vertical axis.

CONFIGURABLE DEVICE COMPRISING A SCREEN AND SUITABLE TO SUPPORT A COMPUTER

Provided is a configurable device including a screen and configured to support a computer, the configurable device further including a support frame having consecutive operating portions and joints defining axes of rotation between the operating portions, reciprocal positioning means of the operating portions, the operating portions further including a base unit, an upper unit connected to the screen, and at least one intermediate unit connected between the base unit and the upper unit, the configurable device lastly including actuation members configured to automatically control the positioning means.

Method and apparatus for isolating a vibration of a positioning device

A method and an apparatus for isolating a vibration of a positioning device are provided. The apparatus includes a base plate for the positioning device, at least one active bearing element for bearing the base plate on/at a foundation and at least one evaluation and control device. The apparatus includes at least one means for determining a foundation movement-dependent quantity, wherein the active bearing element is controllable by the at least one control and evaluation device on the basis of the foundation movement-dependent quantity.

DEVICE FOR ROTATING A MONITOR AROUND AN INSTRUMENT
20230003336 · 2023-01-05 ·

A mechanism for rotating a monitor around an instrument, using a cam having a lobe directed towards a corner or projection of the instrument, the cam being fixed on the instrument in a plane parallel to the rotation of the monitor. The monitor is mounted on the outer section of an extendible arm assembly, the inner section being attached to the instrument by means of a rotary bearing, the outer section of the extendible assembly arm being slidingly attached to the inner section using a spring mechanism which applies a tensional force to the outer section in the direction towards the rotary bearing. As the extendible arm assembly is rotated, a cam follower attached to the outer section of the extendible arm assembly, traces the outer profile of the cam, thereby causing the outer section of the extendible arm also to trace the outer profile of the cam.
