OFFSET TRANSFER CASE PUMP WITH LUBRICATION DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM
A transfer case includes a mainshaft, an oil distribution device, and a lubricating pump, with the lubricating pump having a pumpshaft offset from the axis of the mainshaft. The transfer case includes a rear housing in which the lubricating pump housing is disposed in radially offset location, where lubricating oil is drawn via suction to the pump housing from a sump at the bottom of the transfer case. The pump pressurizes the oil and delivers the oil via passageways extending between the radially offset pump and the oil distribution device, which surrounds the mainshaft. The passageways may be provided in a manifold block that is fixed to the housing. The manifold block may provide an anti-rotation feature to the oil distribution device, such that drag on the oil distribution device caused by rotation of the mainshaft is counteracted.

Dual drive gerotor pump
A fluid pumping system comprises a housing, an electric motor, a rotatable first input, a rotatable second input driven by the electric motor, a gerotor including an inner rotor, an outer rotor; and a cam ring in sliding receipt of the outer rotor. The cam ring is selectively rotatable by one of the first input and the second input. The inner rotor is rotatable by the other of the first input and the second input. The housing includes a first fluid inlet passage on a first side of the cam ring and a second fluid inlet passage on an opposite side of the cam ring. Fluid entering a cavity between the inner rotor and the outer rotor flows parallel to the axis of rotation of the first input. The cam ring includes a radially extending outlet port and pumped fluid flows radially out of the cavity.

Liquid pump, in particular for providing a supply to a transmission or to a clutch in the drive train of a motor vehicle
A liquid pump, in particular for providing a supply to a transmission or to a clutch in the drive train of a motor vehicle, includes a drive motor, a pump module which can be operated in two opposing directions of rotation, and at least one inlet and multiple outlets, each of which has at least one corresponding check valve. The pump has a valve plate corresponding to the pump module in which, for each check valve, a valve seat and a receptacle for a valve element interacting with the valve seat are provided.

OIL PUMP
In an oil pump, an inner rotor and an outer rotor rotate to discharge the oil through a discharge port. The discharge port has an outer extension portion located on a radially inner side with respect to a root circle of the outer rotor and on a radially outer side of a tip circle of the outer rotor and an inner extension portion located on the radially inner side with respect to the tip circle of the outer rotor and on the radially outer side with respect to a root circle of the inner rotor. An inter-tooth chamber facing a partitioning portion that partitions the suction port from the discharge port comes into communication with the outer extension portion and the inner extension portion. Then, a tip seal portion defining the inter-tooth chamber intersects an outer edge of an opening of the discharge port.
OIL PUMP AND CONTROL VALVE
An oil pump includes a pump component, a valve container, a valve mechanism, and a circumvention passage. The valve container includes a through hole establishing communication between an inside and an outside of the valve container. The valve mechanism includes: a valve body contained in the valve container; a valve element contained movably in the valve body; a back pressure chamber disposed to face a first valve end of the valve element; a drive mechanism disposed to face a second valve end of the valve element and structured to generate a drive force to move the valve element; and an aperture positioned higher in a vertical direction than the through hole and formed in the valve body so as to establish communication between the back pressure chamber and the inside of the valve container. The circumvention passage establishes communication between the through hole and the aperture.
System and method for controlling variable oil pump
A system for controlling a variable oil pump is provided. The system includes a variable oil pump that varies a discharge pressure of oil and an actuator that is operated to vary the discharge pressure of the oil of the variable oil pump. A controller turns the actuator on or off based a relationship between an outdoor temperature and a cooling water temperature of an engine.
