Axle assembly having a dipstick assembly
An axle assembly that includes a housing assembly and a dipstick assembly. The housing assembly may at least partially define a cavity that receives a lubricant. At least a portion of the dipstick assembly may be removably mountable to the housing assembly and may include a fitting and a dipstick.
Grounded filter regulator lubricator
A grounded FRL for treating a pressurized air supply has a housing with a connecting mechanism for connecting to a collector bowl. The collector bowl is made from a metal base material and has an open end with a connecting mechanism and a closed distal end. The housing has a flange that is electrically conductive and extending downwardly at an exterior of the bowl. At least one grounding clip member is made from electrically conductive material and has an exterior mounting end attached to the flange for electrical connectivity thereto and has a radially inner end that electrically makes contact with the metal base materials of the collector bowl and the housing.
Venting cap with splash guard
The application relates to a venting cap for oil tanks of machines and machinery, including: a cup fitted with a flange along its outer surface, with this flange bearing coupling elements underneath it with complementary elements provided on the access sleeve of the tanks and at the top of shaped engagement tabs, a lid for closing the cup that is snap-fitted onto the cup, fitted with a flange, wherein: the flanged partition houses on its lower surface an insert with a substantially cylindrical profile, the cup body is associated with a spiral labyrinth on top of which is fitted the means for engaging the cup; and above the flange of the cup there is a collar fitted with an external toroidal groove that engages with a raised toroidal thread along the inner surface of an upper closing lid of the cup.
LUBRICATION SYSTEM
A lubrication system for a wind turbine is provided, the lubrication system including a lubricant consumer to which fresh lubricant is supplied and out of which used lubricant is extracted, a pump for pumping fresh lubricant to the lubricant consumer, a waste lubricant collector where used lubricant can flow after being extracted from the lubricant consumer, and a plurality of containers delivering fresh lubricant to the lubrication system.
Efficient grounding of electrical connection with challenging bonding path
A system and method of safely servicing a liquid-tight container installed in a location where flammable vapors or electrostatic shock exist, where the structure of the container is fabricated of a non-conductive material. The electrostatic charge build-up inside the container is achieved by coating the inside surface with a dissipative plastic and connecting the dissipative coating to a conductive feed-through with a metallic layer, where at least one of the metallic layer or the conductive layer extends over at least the region between a lower design fill level and an upper design fill level. The conductive feed-through is connected to a system static ground point which is isolated from electronic power supply grounds.
SYSTEMS FOR AXLE ARM
Systems are provided for an axle arm including a lubricant reservoir and a driveshaft. In one example, system may include a lubricant reservoir of an axle arm comprising a fill line at an edge of a driveshaft, wherein a central axis of the lubricant reservoir is misaligned with a central axis of the driveshaft.
Monitoring system for pump with mechanical seal lubrication arrangement
Systems and methods are provided for remotely monitoring liquid lubricant levels for pump equipment. A system includes a reservoir to store lubricant and a lubrication gland to expose a shaft seal of the pump equipment to the lubricant. A feed line and a return line circulate the lubricant between the reservoir and the lubrication gland. A level sensor is configured to measure a fluid level in the reservoir. The level sensor uses a communication interface to transmit fluid level data a monitoring device mounted to the pump equipment. The monitoring device is configured to compare the fluid level data against stored alert thresholds and send, to a provider network, an alert signal when the fluid level data is below an alert threshold. If the fluid level data is not below an alert threshold, the monitoring device stores the fluid level data for periodic reporting.
Grease gun and cartridge unit
A grease gun, in one preferred embodiment, wherein the grease containing portion of the cartridge consists principally of transparent plastic material, wherein the cartridge stands alone without a surrounding supporting metal barrel, wherein the cartridge has an air vented bottom end and an open top end which is non-removably fixed to the grease inlet portion of a pumping head, wherein the pumping head body including the pumping handles is composed of a single plastic molding, wherein the cartridge has no pressurizing spring and piston and no grease compression rod, wherein ambient air pressure is utilized to load the head, wherein valving structures in the head are molded of plastic material, wherein the valving structures are positioned in the head to allow self priming of the pumping structure, and whereby the gun components are easy to assemble, are light weight, and are easy to use.
Sump Fluid Level Regulation Method and System
The present disclosure relates to a method and system of maintaining a predetermined working quantity of fluid in a reduced volume sump of a motor or vehicle. The method includes recurrently determining a quantity of fluid in the sump and comparing the determined quantity of fluid to the predetermined working fluid quantity. In response to identifying a deviation between the determined quantity of fluid and the predetermined working fluid quantity, the method includes sending a control signal to a fluid pumping system to transfer fluid between the sump and a fluid container.
GREASING MECHANISM FOR MAIN ELECTRIC MOTOR OF VEHICLE
A greasing mechanism for a main electric motor of a vehicle includes a greasing tube that is filled with a semi-solid lubricant and has an indicator member within the greasing tube. The indicator member has a specific gravity that is smaller than that of the semi-solid lubricant and moves in a greasing direction from a first position due to pressure of the semi-solid lubricant during greasing. The greasing mechanism includes a retaining part that has a shape that stops at a second position the indicator member moving during greasing. An indicator window arranged in a portion of the greasing tube including the second position is formed from a component that is at least partially transparent to visible light.
