Oil filter for a motor vehicle and filter cartridge for an oil filter
An oil filter for a motor vehicle includes a filter cartridge disposed in an oil filter housing. A piston of the filter cartridge is displaceable in the oil filter housing in an axial direction of the filter cartridge. The filter cartridge has a closure element where the closure element is held at an end of at least one strut of the filter cartridge and where a free end of the at least one strut is supported in the oil filter housing. The piston is displaceable relative to the at least one strut in the axial direction of the filter cartridge.
Rotary Vessel for a Filter Assembly
A rotary vessel for a filter assembly is rotatably mountable in a housing of the filter assembly and has a body having an open end, a cover receivable on the body to close the open end, and a releasable locking device that is manually operable to selectively lock and unlock the cover relative to the body.
Rotary vessel for a filter assembly having a releasable locking device
A rotary vessel for a filter assembly is rotatably mountable in a housing of the filter assembly and has a body having an open end, a cover receivable on the body to close the open end, and a releasable locking device that is manually operable to selectively lock and unlock the cover relative to the body.

Filter system and method
According to one aspect of the present disclosure, a filter assembly includes a filter housing including a housing inlet and a housing outlet, and a filtering section located downstream of the housing inlet and upstream of the housing outlet. The filtering section includes a first filtering portion, a second filtering portion, a wall longitudinally separating the first filtering portion and the second filtering portion, a filtering outlet, and a valve located in the filtering outlet. The valve includes a closed condition and an open condition, and wherein, in the valve closed condition the valve blocks flow from the second filtering portion to the housing outlet.
INTERLOCK FOR GENUINE FILTER RECOGNITION
Various example embodiments relate to a filtration system and methods for the installation and use of such a filtration system. According to a set of embodiments, the filtration system comprises a housing that defines a central compartment therein. The filtration system further comprises a filter cartridge positioned within the central compartment of the housing. The filter cartridge comprises a filter media and an identification element. The filtration system further comprises a sensor. The sensor is structured to sense the identification element of the filter cartridge. The filtration system further comprises a filter blocking mechanism communicably coupled to the sensor. The filter blocking mechanism is structured prevent installation of the filter cartridge into the housing unless filter cartridge information of the identification element sensed by the sensor is identified as corresponding to an authorized filter cartridge.
Spin-on fluid treatment device and methods
The disclosure pertains to a spin-on fluid treatment device, including a treatment medium disposed within a housing, a top surface having an internally threaded bore and an outlet tube at least partially disposed inside said threaded bore in a concentric position. The outlet tube can have an externally oriented sealing portion for engaging with a complementary element of an inlet spud of an entity that receives said treated fluids. The outlet tube can be configured as an alignment feature to guide the treatment device onto the inlet spud during installation. The outlet tube can be configured with both an externally oriented sealing portion and an alignment feature. The disclosure also pertains to a system comprising a machine having a treatment device head and a spin-on fluid treatment device, a kit, a spin-on fluid filter cartridge, and a method of mounting a spin-on filter cartridge onto a filter head.
Oil filter with replaceable filter core
An oil filter with replaceable filter core is disclosed and includes a detachable seal cap, so that a user could open the seal cap and individually replace a broken filter core in the oil filter without discarding other parts remain intact, so as to avoid unnecessary waste and further contribute to environmental protection and resources conservation.
Filter Assembly
A filter assembly includes a housing, a proximal end cap, and a nut plate. The housing defines a longitudinal axis and includes an inner surface surrounding the longitudinal axis. The proximal end cap is disposed within the housing and defines a central aperture. The nut plate is disposed within the housing and includes a flange portion and an outer wall. The flange portion is disposed within the central aperture. The outer wall includes a plurality of protrusions disposed about the longitudinal axis. At least one of the plurality of protrusions engages the inner surface to prevent rotation of the nut plate relative to the housing.
