GREASE TOOL FOR REPACKING DUAL ANGULAR CONTACT BEARING WITH GREASE, AND METHOD OF USING SAME
A grease tool and method for greasing a dual angular contact bearing where the grease tool is fabricated from a single unitary piece of material. The grease tool comprises a cylindrical hub, a flange supported adjacent only one end of the cylindrical hub, and a grease fitting attached to the grease tool to facilitate a supply of grease thereto. During use, a pair of spaced apart O-rings, accommodated by an exterior surface of the cylindrical hub, form a pair of grease seals with an inwardly facing surface of an inner race of the dual angular contact bearing. A supply passage conveys the supplied grease from the grease fitting to a grease outlet(s) located in an exterior cylindrical surface of the grease tool, between the pair of O-rings, for conveyance of the supplied grease radially to the inner race of the dual angular contact bearing and facilitate repacking thereof.
Swivel joint with electrical conductivity grease fitting
A swivel joint includes a tail section and a body portion that define a passageway therethrough and which can rotate relative to one another. One or more seals and bearings can be disposed between the tail section and the body portion. An electrical conductivity grease fitting can be mounted within a bore hole in the body portion. The electrical conductivity grease fitting can have a lubricant passed therethrough to lubricate the bearings. The electrical conductivity grease fitting has a first portion in electrical communication with the body portion and a second portion that is biased into electrical communication with the tail section to maintain electrical conductivity between the tail section and the body portion.

CAM FOLLOWER ROLLER ASSEMBLY
A cam follower roller assembly has a shaft insertable into a roller. The shaft has a zerk in communication with the channel wherein lubricant can be added to the assembly. The design of the assembly in one embodiment is such that a larger shoulder to shaft radius stabilizes the shaft and limits the shaft from rocking or elongating within a mounting hole. When utilized in the application of a loading mechanism and carriage assembly for trash collection vehicles, one embodiment of the cam follower roller assembly provides greater life and easier serviceability.
FLUID SUPPLY APPARATUS
An apparatus comprising a fluid fitting such as a grease nipple, which is attachable to a device that requires lubrication, and a complementary coupler is provided. The fitting includes an insertable section for mating with a complementary receiving portion on the coupler. The fitting includes one or more first entry ports through a side of the insertable section of the fitting, and an exit distal to the insertable section. The feed channel exits of the coupler, mate with the entry ports of the fitting when the insertable section of the fitting is in a delivery position, so that a fluid can be transferred under pressure from a fluid reservoir via the coupler, into the fitting.

TRANSMISSION LUBRICATING STRUCTURE OF HELICOPTER
A transmission lubricating structure includes: a main tank; an auxiliary tank; a common line to supply lubricating oil from the main or the auxiliary tank; a main line to introduce the lubricating oil in the main tank to the common line; an auxiliary line to introduce the lubricating oil in the auxiliary tank to the common line; a common nozzle configured to discharge the lubricating oil, supplied from the common line, to a transmission; a pump configured to supply the lubricating oil from the main tank to the common line; and a relay valve arranged lower than the auxiliary tank and higher than the common nozzle and provided upstream of the common line, the relay valve being configured to block the auxiliary line when the pump is operating and open the auxiliary line so the common line communicates with the auxiliary tank when the pump is in a stop state.
