FLUID CONDITION SENSING SYSTEM AND METHODS
Embodiments herein relate to oil condition sensing systems and related methods. In a first aspect, an oil condition sensing system is included having a control circuit, a temperature sensor, and a fluid property sensor, wherein the fluid property sensor measures fluid properties including at least dielectric constant and the oil condition sensing system is configured to automatically detect when an oil change event has occurred, record the fluid property sensor data as new baseline fluid property data after an oil change event has occurred, and evaluate the condition of an engine oil based on a comparison with the baseline fluid property data. The oil condition sensing system can be configured to automatically detect the oil change event by evaluating signals from the fluid property sensor and interpret a change in dielectric constant and/or viscosity crossing a threshold value as an oil change event. Other embodiments are also included herein.
Cold start lubricant distribution systems and work vehicles including the same
Embodiments of a cold start lubricant distribution system include a lubricant distribution circuit, which fluidly interconnects first and second actively-lubricated work vehicle assemblies onboard a work vehicle. A flow divider section is included in the lubricant distribution circuit and through which lubricant flow is apportioned between the first and second actively-lubricated work vehicle assemblies. A lubricant supply pump is further located in the lubricant distribution circuit upstream of the flow divider section. The cold start lubricant distribution system further includes a lubricant flow modification assembly operably in a cold start mode. When operating in the cold start mode, the lubricant flow modification assembly reduces a volume of lubricant flow supplied to the first actively-lubricated work vehicle assembly through the flow divider section relative to a volume of lubricant flow supplied to the second actively-lubricated work vehicle assembly through the flow divider section.
Agricultural machine
An agricultural machine, comprising is disclosed, wherein the machine comprises a body frame; a cutting system mounted on the body frame; a drive system mounted on the body frame; a power unit, mounted on the body frame, adapted to provide power to the drive system and/or the cutting system; and a fluid distribution system adapted to provide fluid to the power unit. The fluid distribution system further comprises a dock and a replaceable fluid container adapted to contain fluid to be supplied to the power unit the dock being adapted to retain the replaceable fluid container in fluid communication with the fluid distribution system so as to supply fluid from the replaceable fluid container via the fluid distribution system to the power unit. A method of facilitating an oil change in an agricultural machine is also disclosed.
PTO lubrication system for hybrid vehicles
A vehicle drive system includes a first prime mover, a transmission, a power take-off (PTO), a lubrication system for the transmission and the PTO, and a control system. The transmission is powered by the first prime mover. The transmission is configured to rotate a drive shaft of the vehicle. The PTO is connected to the transmission at a first interface. The PTO includes the first interface and a second interface. The control system is configured to control fluid flow through the lubrication system for at least one mode where the input section of the PTO is stationary and the output section rotates.
OFFSET TRANSFER CASE PUMP WITH LUBRICATION DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM
A transfer case includes a mainshaft, an oil distribution device, and a lubricating pump, with the lubricating pump having a pumpshaft offset from the axis of the mainshaft. The transfer case includes a rear housing in which the lubricating pump housing is disposed in radially offset location, where lubricating oil is drawn via suction to the pump housing from a sump at the bottom of the transfer case. The pump pressurizes the oil and delivers the oil via passageways extending between the radially offset pump and the oil distribution device, which surrounds the mainshaft. The passageways may be provided in a manifold block that is fixed to the housing. The manifold block may provide an anti-rotation feature to the oil distribution device, such that drag on the oil distribution device caused by rotation of the mainshaft is counteracted.
SYSTEMS FOR AXLE ARM
Systems are provided for an axle arm including a lubricant reservoir and a driveshaft. In one example, system may include a lubricant reservoir of an axle arm comprising a fill line at an edge of a driveshaft, wherein a central axis of the lubricant reservoir is misaligned with a central axis of the driveshaft.
OIL REFILL CONTAINER
An oil refill container that can be coupled to a coolant refill station in an air conditioning system for motor vehicles comprises a body defining an oil containment compartment adapted to be mixed with the coolant circulating in said air conditioning system, and a closing cap provided with quick coupling means adapted to be connected to the refill station or a seat adapted to removably connect the quick coupling means to said closing cap, said closing cap comprising a cover and an under-cap adapted to define a compartment suitable for containing at least an amount of a drying substance when coupled to the cover.
OIL SUPPLY SYSTEM OF VEHICLE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
An oil supply system of a vehicle includes: a first pump generating a first quantity of oil to cool a driving motor of a hybrid vehicle; a second pump generating a second quantity of oil to lubricate a friction lubrication element of the hybrid vehicle; a flow channel switching valve selectively switching a flow channel of the first quantity of oil and a flow channel of the second quantity of oil to connect the flow channel of the first quantity of oil to the friction lubrication element or connect the flow channel of the second quantity of oil to the driving motor; and a controller controlling an operation of the flow channel switching valve to supply a portion of the first quantity of oil to the friction lubrication element or a portion of the second quantity of oil to the driving motor.
Door checker unit for vehicle
A door checker apparatus for a vehicle may include a checker arm which has one end portion mounted on a side outer panel through a hinge bracket, the other end portion at which a stopper is disposed, and a groove; and a slide device which is mounted on a door inside panel, and slides along the checker arm.
Cooling and lubrication system for a motor vehicle drive unit
A cooling and lubrication system for a motor vehicle drive unit includes a drive unit sump, a first mechanically-driven pump, a second mechanically-driven pump, and an oil/air separator reservoir, among other possible components. The drive unit sump holds drive unit fluid. The first mechanically-driven pump fluidly communicates with the drive unit sump, and the second mechanically-driven pump fluidly communicates with the drive unit sump. The oil/air separator reservoir resides downstream of the first mechanically-driven pump and resides downstream of the second mechanically-driven pump.
