Wheelend assembly grease tool
A grease tool for a unitized wheelend assembly is provided. The grease tool may have a plug with a fluid conduit to place a lubrication source in fluid communication with an inner bearing and a cap with a fluid conduit to place the lubrication source in fluid communication with an outer bearing. The grease tool may include a cylindrical body having an inner bearing support and an outer bearing support. The cylindrical body has an inner rotor and disc and an outer rotor and disc where the inner rotor and the outer rotor cause the discs to move between an extended and retracted position.
LUBRICATION SYSTEM
A lubrication system for a wind turbine is provided, the lubrication system including a lubricant consumer to which fresh lubricant is supplied and out of which used lubricant is extracted, a pump for pumping fresh lubricant to the lubricant consumer, a waste lubricant collector where used lubricant can flow after being extracted from the lubricant consumer, and a plurality of containers delivering fresh lubricant to the lubrication system.
QUICK-INJECTION GREASE FILLING DEVICE
A quick-injection grease filling device includes an oil cup, a detachable guide seat, a screw, a piston, an oppression part and a rotating drive part. The piston is held inside the oil tank, capable of moving upward and downward. The piston has an oppression surface and a bearing placement surface. The detachable guide seat includes a screw hole and a combination part which is attached to the cup mouth through a detachable assembly unit. The screw is screwed into the screw hole of the detachable guide seat to move forward and backward. The inner end of the screw extends into the oil cup, and the outward extending end extends out of the cup mouth. The rotation driving part is arranged on the outward extending end. The oppression part can move forward and backward along with the screw. The oppression part is used to press against the bearing.
Lubricant dispenser for a wind turbine
A lubricant dispenser for filling a lubricant reservoir of a wind turbine is provided. The lubricant dispenser includes a carrier configured to receive a lubricant container, wherein the carrier includes at least a first and second support for supporting a first and second end of the lubricant container and. The lubricant dispenser further includes a flow connection having a first end configured to be coupled to the lubricant container and a second end configured to be coupled to the lubricant reservoir, and a squeeze mechanism that is mechanically coupled to the second support and that is actuatable to move the second support towards the first support such that a lubricant container disposed between the first and second supports is squeezed, whereby the content of the lubricant container is discharged through the flow connection. A wind turbine lubrication system and method of refilling a wind turbine lubricant reservoir are provided.
GREASE TOOL FOR REPACKING DUAL ANGULAR CONTACT BEARING WITH GREASE, AND METHOD OF USING SAME
A grease tool and method for greasing a dual angular contact bearing where the grease tool is fabricated from a single unitary piece of material. The grease tool comprises a cylindrical hub, a flange supported adjacent only one end of the cylindrical hub, and a grease fitting attached to the grease tool to facilitate a supply of grease thereto. During use, a pair of spaced apart O-rings, accommodated by an exterior surface of the cylindrical hub, form a pair of grease seals with an inwardly facing surface of an inner race of the dual angular contact bearing. A supply passage conveys the supplied grease from the grease fitting to a grease outlet(s) located in an exterior cylindrical surface of the grease tool, between the pair of O-rings, for conveyance of the supplied grease radially to the inner race of the dual angular contact bearing and facilitate repacking thereof.
GREASE SEALING METHOD AND SEALING DEVICE FOR BALL BEARING AND BALL BEARING PRODUCED USING SAID SEALING METHOD
A retainer is rotationally driven about a axis of a ball bearing, and convex areas having pockets provided therein along a ball pitch circle of the retainer and concave areas between adjacent pockets is detected by a sensor. Grease is discharged according to phases of the convex areas and concave areas in the rotationally driven retainer from a dispenser having grease discharge ports arranged to face an annular space.
WHEEL BEARING GREASER
Implementations of a wheel bearing greater are provided. In some implementations, the wheel bearing greater may be connected to a pressurized grease source and used to pack grease into a bearing. In some implementations, the wheel bearing greater comprises a cylindrical portion configured to be inserted within an inner race of a bearing. In some implementations, the cylindrical portion comprises a solid cylinder having a channel extending around the outer surface of the cylindrical portion; a grease inlet port extending from an outer surface of a shoulder portion and through a portion of the cylindrical portion, and at least a first grease ejection port extending from the grease inlet port to the channel. The greater further comprises a shoulder portion secured to a first end of the cylindrical portion wherein the shoulder portion is larger in diameter than the cylindrical portion thereby creating a ledge around the cylindrical portion on the first end.
Grease packing tool for a bearing assembly
A grease packing tool includes a support member and an alignment member. The support member includes a radially outward section, a radially inward section, and an annular passage. The radially outward section has an inner surface that includes an annular seat for receiving a cage of a bearing assembly. The radially inward section has an outer surface that includes an annular ledge for supporting an inner ring of the bearing assembly. The annular passage is arranged between the radially outward section and the radially inward section and is configured to deliver grease between rolling elements of the bearing assembly. The alignment member includes a projection that has an exterior surface for contacting the inner ring of the bearing assembly to ensure that the cage of the bearing assembly and the inner ring of the bearing assembly are respectively seated in the annular seat and the annular ledge.
