ACTIVELY DRIED EQUIPMENT UNIT WITH A MOVABLE MECHANICAL ELEMENT IN AN AIRCRAFT
An equipment unit for installation in an aircraft includes an enclosure, in which at least one movable mechanical element is arranged, a supply duct, and a non-return valve, wherein the enclosure includes an inflow port and an outflow port, wherein the supply duct is connected to the inflow port, wherein the non-return valve is connected to the outflow port, wherein the supply duct is connectable to a source of heated air providable in the respective aircraft, and wherein the enclosure is designed that air supplied through the supply duct enters the enclosure through the inflow port, picks up moisture from inside the enclosure and exits through the outflow port.
FLUID PURIFICATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Apparatuses and methods for improved operation of a fluid purification system. The apparatuses and methods may include an evaporator chamber and a filter chamber and include directing compressed air into the air inlet of an evaporator chamber, drying the compressed air before directing the compressed air into the air inlet of the evaporator chamber, reducing pressure at the air outlet of the evaporator chamber to less than atmospheric pressure, collecting material exiting the evaporator chamber through the air outlet in a particulate bottle, and drawing air from the particulate bottle into the air inlet of the evaporator chamber.
INDUSTRIAL OIL DEGASSING SYSTEM AND METHOD
An industrial oil degassing system and method to remove gas from an industrial machine oil. Described is an industrial oil degassing system, including a pressure tank under pressure to receive oil charged with gas, a separation tank with an atmospheric pressure to separate gas from the oil, and a seal oil tank with an atmospheric pressure to receive the degassed oil from the separation tank. Further described is a method for industrial degassing of oil with the steps of exerting a pressure to a pressure tank, supplying the oil to the pressure tank, supplying the oil from the pressure tank to a separation tank with atmospheric pressure, separating gas from the oil in the separation tank, and supplying the degassed oil to a seal oil tank with atmospheric pressure.
VALVE ASSEMBLY FOR MACHINE FLUID OPERATIONS
A system. The system includes a valve assembly. The valve assembly includes a first port, a second port fluidically couplable with the first port upon application of negative pressure at the first port, a third port fluidically couplable with the first port upon application of positive pressure at the first port, and a first check valve positioned between the first port and the second port. The system also includes a second check valve fluidically couplable with the third port upon the application of the positive pressure at the first port. The second check valve is positioned external to the valve assembly.
Refiner Device for Refining of a Liquid
A refiner device for refining of a liquid, wherein the refiner device includes a housing provided with a liquid inlet for unrefined oil or fuel, a liquid outlet for refined oil or fuel, an air inlet for supplying a flow of air into the housing, and an air outlet for discharging air and contaminants removed from the liquid. The refiner device further includes a liquid receiving plate arranged inside the housing, the refiner device arranged such that when liquid has passed through the liquid inlet during operation of the device, the liquid is contacted with an upper surface of the liquid receiving plate before it reaches the liquid outlet, and at least one heating element arranged to directly or indirectly heat the liquid while the liquid is in contact with the liquid receiving plate. The refiner device further includes a hollow air-guiding member arranged at the liquid receiving plate.
