A bearing housing assembly featuring a bearing housing having a bearing housing wall portion with a bearing assembly chamber for receiving a bearing assembly and a shaft to be rotated, an oil sump for receiving and containing oil for lubricating the bearing assembly when the shaft is rotated, an oil path channel formed as an oil path for receiving dirty oil from the bearing assembly chamber for traveling down the oil path, and a filter assembly wall portion forming a filter assembly cavity coupled fluidically between the oil sump and the oil path channel; and a filter assembly arranged in the filter assembly cavity, to couple to the filter assembly wall portion, receive the dirty oil traveling down the oil path, filter the dirty oil and provide filtered oil to the oil sump, so the filtered oil can be recirculated to lubricate the bearing assembly when the shaft is rotated.

A lubrication apparatus is provided. The lubrication apparatus includes a tray having opposing sides, opposing ends, a bottom member and a cavity formed therewithin. A plurality of roller assemblies is positioned within the cavity. The roller assemblies are configured for rotation and further configured to receive the bushing therebetween. A motor is mounted to the tray and configured to rotate the plurality of roller assemblies. Rotation of the plurality of roller assemblies urges rotation of the bushing. A lubricant material is positioned in the tray and configured to contact the roller assemblies. Rotation of the roller assemblies brings the lubricant material into contact with the outer surface of the bushing. The motor and the roller assemblies are further configured such that a single revolution of the bushing results in a substantially uniform layer of a lubricant material on the outer surface of a bushing.

The coating member in which first fibers composed of a material located on a positive polarity side and second fibers composed of a material located on a negative polarity side, on a triboelectric series with respect to the material of the solid lubricant are implanted, coats lubricant powders scraped off from the solid lubricant onto the image supporter. The film shaping member comes in contact with the image supporter and presses the lubricant powders onto the image supporter, to shape the lubricant powders into a form of a film. A scraping amount of the lubricant powders by the first fibers and a scraping amount of the lubricant powders by the second fibers are set to become substantially identical.
