Centralized oil distribution system
An oil distribution system including a shaft assembly, bearing assembly and mounting assembly is disclosed. The shaft assembly includes a shaft with an inner shaft. A pocket is defined between the shaft and the inner shaft. A ringed lattice containing oil is secured within the pocket, melting of the ringed lattice releases the oil. The shaft includes shaft slots to usher oil from the pocket towards the bearing assembly. The bearing assembly includes an inner and outer race. The inner and outer race each include axial slots and radial slots. The axial slots of the inner race align with the shaft slots to allow oil to flood the inner race. The mounting assembly includes a bearing support having bearing support slots to receive a stringed lattice. Oil from the bearing support flows into the outer race when the axial slots of the outer race align with the bearing support slots.
Axle assembly with internal lubrication system
An axle assembly includes a spindle to receive a drive shaft having a rotational input about an axis and a wheel hub rotatably supported by at least one roller bearing disposed on the spindle. A tire inflation system defines a spindle gas passage to route pressurized gas from an onboard source through the spindle. The tire inflation system includes a seal chamber between the spindle and wheel hub to transfer gas from the spindle to the wheel hub, and a hub gas passage in fluid communication with the seal chamber is arranged to route the pressurized gas to a tire. A lubrication system having a reservoir is located axially outboard of the seal chamber and at least one hub lubricant passage routes lubricant between the reservoir to a roller bearing located axially inboard of the seal chamber. The hub lubricant passage routes lubricant radially outward of the seal chamber.

Lubrication system
An insert for supplying a fluid to splines of a drive shaft, the insert extending along an axis of rotation, and the insert comprising an insert wall extending along the axis of rotation, a reservoir defined by the insert wall for storing a fluid, an elastically deformable portion, the elastically deformable portion capable of transitioning between an expanded state and an unexpanded state, and wherein the elastically deformable portion is configured to expand to the expanded state in a radial direction with respect to the axis of rotation when the fluid is supplied to the reservoir during rotation of the insert and to contract to the unexpanded state when rotation of the insert and supply of the fluid to the reservoir are ceased.
ELECTRIC MOTOR, ROTARY DRIVE SYSTEM, AND HYDRAULIC SHOVEL
An electric motor includes a rotor having a rotary shaft rotating around a vertically extending axis and a rotor core fixed to an outer peripheral surface of the rotary shaft, a stator surrounding the rotor core from an outer peripheral side, a lower bottom portion as a partition wall partitioning a first space where the rotor and the stator are disposed and a lubricating oil is supplied from an outside, a storage portion configured to store the lubricating oil supplied into the first space, a brake mechanism as a drive unit discharging the lubricating oil inside the storage portion into the first space, and sliding portions into each of which the lubricating oil discharged from the inside of the storage portion is introduced.
