Power tool and method
A handheld power tool with a rotatable tool, in which the handheld power tool is a saw blade or milling cutter. The handheld power tool includes a sensor device for detecting a mechanical vector quantity. The mechanical vector quantity includes a force, an acceleration, a velocity, a deflection, a deformation and/or a mechanical stress and the mechanical vector quantity depends on a force emanating from the handheld tool. The handheld power tool also includes a control device which is communicatively coupled to the sensor device and is adapted to recognize an event and/or a state of the power tool according to a direction and/or change of direction of the mechanical vector quantity detected by the sensor device.
KNEADING MACHINE FOR DOUGH WITH PINCH PROTECTION
A kneading machine includes a kneading machine frame with a lower portion and a head movable relative to the lower portion between a lower operating position and an upper cleaning position. A kneading bowl is on the lower portion and a drivable kneading tool and a lid closing an opening of the kneading bowl in the operating position are the head. The lid is surrounded on a circumferential side by a first safety ring of a safety device which projects beyond the lid on an underside thereof, and which is movably fastened to the lid. The safety device includes a detector to detect a relative movement between the lid and the first safety ring. The kneading machine frame includes at least two trunnion bearings, each defined by a trunnion and a matching receptacle.
Display apparatus and control method thereof
A display apparatus includes: a display; a motor configured to rotate the display; a sensor configured to sense rotation of the display; and a processor configured to output a driving signal for rotating the display in a first direction to the motor when an event for rotating the display from a first posture to a second posture occurs and output a driving signal for rotating the display in a second direction to the motor when it is identified that the display collides with an object on the basis of the driving signal output to the motor and a signal received from the sensor while the display rotates.
Foreign object detecting device
A foreign object detecting device includes: an input unit to which a detection signal is inputted from a sheet-type pressure sensor; a sensor information processing unit configured to, based on the detection signal, generate sensor information indicating an area in a detection area of the pressure sensor to which a pressure is being applied; and a judgement unit configured to compare the sensor information and basic layout information indicating a predetermined area in the detection area to which a pressure is applied, to thereby judge whether a foreign object is present in the detection area.

Device and a Method for Improving Safety in a Cutting Saw Apparatus
A system and a method for improving safety in a cutting saw apparatus is disclosed. The system comprises an RC oscillation circuit connected to a cutting saw, a detection module to detect changes in the output of the circuit and a control module that controls the operation of the cutting saw. The user wears a conductive footwear when working with the cutting saw. The system also comprises a conductive layer disposed beneath the conductive footwear and the oscillation circuit to establish a conductive path. The user also wears hand gloves to enable working with conductive, non-conductive and semi-conductive materials. When the user's hands comes into contact with the cutting saw, the resistance characteristics of the circuit changes, resulting in a change in the output signal of the circuit. This change is detected by the detection module which triggers the control module to stop the cutting saw.

A servomotor control device includes a servomotor control circuit for controlling an inverter such that an alternating current is supplied to a servomotor when receiving a safety signal, and for controlling the inverter such that the alternating current is not supplied to the servomotor when not receiving the safety signal, and a servomotor monitoring circuit for stopping the servomotor by stopping transmission of the safety signal to the servomotor control circuit when determining to stop the servomotor, and for stopping the servomotor by disconnecting supply of a direct current to the inverter with a power source disconnect circuit and stopping the transmission of the safety signal to the servomotor control circuit when determining that at least one of the power source disconnect circuit, the safety signal, and the servomotor control circuit is not normal.
