FLUID SUPPLY DEVICE
[Problem] When configuring a device for storing and supplying fluid, each components such as vessels, valves/pipes and the like, are placed independently outside a vessel that stores the fluid, and even if these components are small, the volume of the area between the components cannot be effectively used because each of them occupies the surrounding area, and when the total size of the device is limited, it is difficult to ensure a sufficient volume of the vessel that stores the fluid. The present invention provides a design for a configuration of a mechanism consisting of components such as valves/pipes and the like, that functions for storing and exhausting the fluid inside the storage vessel to innovatively improve the volume usage efficiency of the device.
VALVE FOR A PRESSURISED FLUID RESERVOIR
A valve for a fluid reservoir includes an inner portion configured to be arranged inside the reservoir, the inner portion including at least one portion of a sensor for measuring at least one parameter characterizing the fluid, the valve being capable of receiving information from a computer, external to the valve, the valve also includes an outer portion configured to be arranged outside the reservoir, the outer portion having an internal computer that acquires data from the at least one sensor, communicates bidirectionally with the external computer, takes into account information received from the external computer and data from the at least one sensor for controlling at least one actuator of the valve, and measures at least one current parameter in the electrical connection.
AUTOMATIC OBSTRUCTION DEVICE OF A CIRCUIT FOR FILLING ONE OR MORE TANKS WITH A FLUID
An automatic obstruction device for closing a filling circuit for filling a tank with fluid includes: a movable element movable between a non-obstruction position of the filling circuit, in which the movable element offers resistance to the fluid compatible with the filling of the tank, and an obstruction position of the filling circuit, in which the movable offers a resistance to the fluid that is incompatible with the filling of the tank; a holding element of the movable element holding the movable element in the non-obstruction position, and allowing movement of the movable element toward the obstruction position; and a first device of non-reversible movement or of non-reversible modification of the holding element allowing movement of the movable element toward the obstruction position, and being controllable by a control device.
Motor Vehicle Comprising a Hard Shell for Protecting a Fuel-Carrying Connecting Element
A motor vehicle includes at least one pressure vessel for storing fuel, and at least one holder for holding the pressure vessel. When installed, the holder encloses one end of the pressure vessel. The holder has a hard shell and an inner layer, wherein at least regions of the inner layer, when installed, are arranged between the hard shell and the connecting element. The hard shell has a higher rigidity than the inner layer.
SOLVENT DEPRESSURIZATION DEVICES, SYSTEM, AND METHODS
A solvent storage and depressurization system is described. The system allows a volume of solvent to be stored and used at low pressure, thereby providing safety benefits and regulatory simplicity. The system includes an external expansion tank that is located outside of an extraction facility and that contains a solvent. The system also includes an internal storage tank that is located inside of the extraction facility and that provides a solvent supply to a solvent user, such as a phytochemical extraction system. The external and internal tanks are separated and connected via a duplex manifold. The manifold allows gas below a first pressure level to pass from the external expansion tank to the internal storage tank, and allows gas above a second pressure level to pass from the internal storage tank back to the external expansion tank, wherein the second pressure level is greater than the first pressure level.
CONTROL CONDUIT FOR LH2 OFFLOADING
A control conduit for liquid hydrogen offloading is configured to couple a controller of a liquid hydrogen offload system to a liquid hydrogen tanker. The control conduit includes a control line and a gas detector. The control line is configured to transmit a control signal from the controller to the liquid hydrogen tanker. The gas detector is configured to detect hydrogen gas and provide a gas detector signal to the controller. The gas detector is secured to the control line at a predetermined distance from a tanker connection end of the control line.
High pressure container
There is provided a high pressure container including a plurality of container bodies, each of the container bodies housing a fluid in a huh pressure state and being able to release the fluid through a release portion, (ii) opening section that is linked to the container bodies, and that opens at or above a predetermined opening temperature to release the fluid inside the container bodies, and (iii) a cover member that straddles the plurality of container bodies, that covers at least a portion of the plurality of container bodies, that is able to withstand a temperature of no less than the opening temperature, that is linked to the opening section, and that is capable of transmitting heat to the opening section.
HIGH-PRESSURE TANK UNIT
A high-pressure tank unit capable of securing the sealing property of a sealing member in the neck of the high-pressure tank. The tank unit includes a high-pressure tank and a connecting member connected to the high-pressure tank. The connecting member has an annular sealing member disposed between a liner and an insert portion and adapted to seal a housing space. The high-pressure tank has a tubular body disposed between the liner and reinforcing layer in a position facing the sealing member so as to surround the outer peripheral surface of the liner, the tubular body adapted to restrict radial deformation of the inner peripheral surface of the neck. The longitudinal modulus of the material along the circumferential direction of the tubular body is higher than each of the longitudinal moduli of the materials along the circumferential direction of the liner and reinforcing layer.
SELF-SEALING PRESSURE VESSEL SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A compressed gas storage system that includes a pressure vessel. The pressure vessel includes a first vessel portion and a second vessel portion in fluid communication with the first vessel portion. The pressure vessel includes a third vessel portion in fluid communication with the second vessel portion. The compressed gas storage system includes a first valve positioned between the first vessel portion and the second vessel portion and a second valve positioned between the second vessel portion and the third vessel portion. The first valve allows and impedes fluid flow between the first and the second vessel portions. The second valve allows and impedes fluid flow between the second and the third vessel portions.
Quick connect fluid connector, swivel, and combination thereof
A quick connect fluid connector is directly connected to a fluid port of a fluid manifold using a quick connect fluid connector swivel that is configured to permit rotational and/or longitudinal movement of the quick connect fluid connector relative to the fluid port. The relative axial and/or rotational movements provided by the swivel eliminates the need for a fluid hose to be used in the fluid path between the quick connect fluid connector and the fluid port.
