VALVE WITH INTEGRATED PRESSURE REGULATOR

A regulating valve device for a fluid cylinder includes a shut off valve having a ball tappet that actuates the shut off valve. A lever has a cam surface that interacts with the ball tappet as the lever is rotated to translate the ball tappet linearly and actuate the shut off valve. The lever is rotatable from a first valve closed position through a valve open position to a second valve closed position such that the valve open position is intermediate of the first and second valve closed positions. A pressure or flow regulating valve is downstream of the shut off valve. A handwheel is operatively connected to the pressure or flow regulating valve to adjust an outlet pressure of the pressure or flow regulating valve. The handwheel has an axis of operation that is offset from a longitudinal axis of the fluid cylinder by an acute angle.

The invention relates to a shut-off valve (1) for a pressurized-gas vessel, comprising a valve closing body (2) which can perform stroke movements and which is preloaded by the spring force of a closing spring (3) against a valve seat (4), such that, when the valve closing body (2) is in a closed position, a connection of a valve inlet (5) to a valve outlet (6) is shut off, and furthermore comprising an actuator arrangement (7) for opening the valve closing body (2). According to the invention, the actuator arrangement (7) interacts with an actuating element (8) which is arranged spaced apart from and coaxial with respect to the valve closing body (2) and which is movable by means of the actuator arrangement (7) in the direction of the valve closing body (2), such that, when the actuating element (8) abuts against the valve closing body (2), an opening impulse can be generated. The invention furthermore relates to a pressurized-gas vessel having a shut-off valve (1) according to the invention.

Apparatus and method for dispensing gas from a storage vessel

An apparatus is provided for the storage and dispensing of a sorbable gas. The apparatus includes a storage and dispensing vessel constructed and arranged for containing a solid-phase physical sorbent medium having a sorbable gas adsorbed by said sorbent medium. The dispensing vessel includes a top head having a dispensing valve coupled to the vessel for discharging the sorbable gas therefrom. The dispensing valve is in fluid flow communication with a wick that extends below the upper third of the vessel top head. The wick collects the sorbable gas for discharge of the gas through the dispensing valve.

Pressure relief shipping adapter for a bottle head assembly

In one embodiment, systems and methods include using a pressure relief shipping adapter to reduce the internal pressure of a container. A pressure relief shipping adapter comprises a body comprising a first portion and a second portion. The first portion comprises a first bore and a set of protrusions. The second portion comprises a second bore, wherein the second bore comprises a radial gap, wherein the radial gap comprises a uniform arc length along the length of the radial gap. A first end and a second end of the radial gap comprise a greater arc length than the radial gap. A pressure relief shipping adapter further comprises a pressure relief valve disposed at a first end of the first bore and an interlocking component comprising a first tab and a second tab, wherein the interlocking component is at least partially contained within the second bore.

PRESSURE VESSEL
