A portable vaporizer for heating a liquid-phase fuel. The vaporizer comprising a reservoir having a least one wall for containing a heat-conducting fluid within the reservoir. A heating tube extending into the reservoir such that the heating tube is in fluid contact with the heat-conducting fluid. The heating core has and inlet through which the liquid-phase fuel will flow and an outlet through which the vaporized liquid-phase fuel will flow. A heating core comprising an electric heating element placed within the reservoir to heat the heat-conducting fluid and vaporize the liquid-phase fuel passing through the heating tube.

FLIGHT VEHICLE

Provided is a flight vehicle which makes it possible to more reliably retain the sealability of a sealing member of a valve provided on a hydrogen tank even in continuous supply of hydrogen or a low-temperature environment. The flight vehicle having a fuel cell, and a hydrogen tank in which hydrogen for generation of electricity by the fuel cell is stored includes: a valve including a sealing member, the valve being disposed on the hydrogen tank, via the valve hydrogen being taken out from a body of the tank; and a warming unit in which fluid conducts part of waste heat from any portion of the flight vehicle to the sealing member.

GAS TREATMENT SYSTEM AND SHIP INCLUDING SAME
20230081154 · 2023-03-16 ·

The present invention relates to a gas treatment system and a ship including the same. The gas treatment system treats liquefied gas as heavier hydrocarbons or ammonia. The gas treatment system includes: a fuel tank storing liquefied gas as a fuel to be supplied to a propulsion engine of a ship; a liquefied gas supply line supplying the liquefied gas of the fuel tank in a liquid phase to the propulsion engine, the liquefied gas supply line having a high pressure pump provided thereon; a reliquefaction apparatus liquefying boil-off gas generated in a cargo tank storing liquefied gas; and a liquefied gas collection line collecting the liquid liquefied gas discharged from the propulsion engine upstream of the high pressure pump. The reliquefaction apparatus transfers the liquefied boil-off gas to the fuel tank, thereby allowing the liquefied boil-off gas to be supplied to the propulsion engine by the high pressure pump.

FLUID SUPPLY AND STORAGE DEVICE, VEHICLE AND METHOD INCLUDING SUCH A DEVICE

A liquefied fuel cryogenic tank has an inner jacket delimiting a fluid storage volume and an outer jacket disposed around the inner jacket with a vacuum thermal insulation gap therebetween. A withdrawal circuit has an assembly of one or more valves and a withdrawal line that has a first heating heat exchanger located outside the inner jacket and a second heating heat exchanger located inside the inner jacket. Fluid flows through the withdrawal line via the first heat exchanger and then the second heat exchanger or via the first heat exchanger without entering the second heat exchanger.

Integrated cryogenic fluid delivery device with vaporizer having a conformal geometry

An integrated cryogenic fluid delivery system includes a cryogenic liquid tank having an interior, a wall and a geometry. The interior of the cryogenic liquid tank contains a supply of cryogenic liquid. A fuel pickup line is positioned within the interior of the tank and is in fluid communication with a vaporizer so that the vaporizer receives and vaporizes cryogenic liquid from the tank. The vaporizer is positioned outside of the tank and is secured to the wall. The vaporizer also has a shape that conforms with the geometry of the tank.

System and method for unloading compressed natural gas
09784411 · 2017-10-10 ·

A system and method for unloading highly pressurized compressed natural gas from transport vessels by depressurizing the gas through flow lines linking a series of automated flow control valves that lower the gas pressure to a predetermined level, the valves being linked in series with and separated by heat exchangers in which the lower pressure gas flowing through the system is also reheated to a predetermined temperature by a heat exchange medium recirculation system in which the heat exchange medium is reheated by a heat source that can be internal to the system. The use of a minor portion of the depressurized and reheated gas as fuel gas to reheat the heat exchange medium is also disclosed. The subject system can be skid-mounted if desired.
