CONTROL CONDUIT FOR LH2 OFFLOADING
A control conduit for liquid hydrogen offloading is configured to couple a controller of a liquid hydrogen offload system to a liquid hydrogen tanker. The control conduit includes a control line and a gas detector. The control line is configured to transmit a control signal from the controller to the liquid hydrogen tanker. The gas detector is configured to detect hydrogen gas and provide a gas detector signal to the controller. The gas detector is secured to the control line at a predetermined distance from a tanker connection end of the control line.
LH2 offloading with auto-purge and pre-cooling
A computer-controlled method of automatically purging and precooling a hydrogen fuel line prior to transferring hydrogen fuel from a source to a storage tank includes purging moisture from a hydrogen fuel line. The hydrogen fuel line is configured to fluidically couple a hydrogen tanker storage tank and a fueling station storage tank, the hydrogen storage tanker storage tank and the fueling station storage tank configured to store liquid hydrogen. The method also includes pre-cooling the hydrogen fuel line, causing hydrogen fuel to flow through the hydrogen fuel line to re-fill the fueling station storage tank, and expelling residual hydrogen fuel from the hydrogen fuel line when the fueling station storage tank re-filling is complete.
SELF-CONTAINED PORTABLE DEVICE FOR FILLING CYLINDERS WITH HIGH-PRESSURE HYDROGEN
The invention relates to power engineering equipment, in particular, to an self-contained portable device for filling cylinders with high-pressure hydrogen at preliminary high-pressure hydrogen production from hydrolysis. The technical result of the invention is providing with high-purity high-pressure hydrogen charging in any place, where there is an access to water, with complete elimination of power costs, reducing reactor weight, high performance reliability and easy servicing of the device. The self-contained portable device for charging cylinders with high-pressure hydrogen comprising a reaction chamber containing a solid reagent cartridge and reaction liquid pipe configured to supply liquid reagent to the lower part of the reaction chamber, a refrigerant dryer comprising installed in series a hydrogen cooler, filter-separator and hydrogen dryer, liquid reagent pipeline connected with the reaction liquid pipe, high-pressure hand pump connected with the liquid reagent pipeline to the reaction chamber and configured to feed liquid reagent in portions to the reaction chamber, gaseous hydrogen pipeline connecting the reaction chamber and refrigerant dryer, treated gaseous hydrogen pipeline configured to supply high-pressure hydrogen from the refrigerant dryer to a cylinder, wherein the gaseous hydrogen pipeline, treated gaseous hydrogen pipeline and liquid reagent pipeline are equipped with quick-release couplings, and the reaction chamber is placed in the reaction chamber cooling tank.

BAYONET FOR LH2 OFFLOADING
A bayonet coupling system includes a bayonet, a bayonet coupler, and a seal. The bayonet includes a bayonet tube configured to enable the flow of hydrogen fuel therethrough, and a flange coupled to the bayonet tube. The seal is configured to surround the bayonet tube and contact the flange along one side of the flange. The bayonet coupler includes a bayonet coupler tube having an inside diameter larger than an outside diameter of the bayonet tube, the bayonet coupler tube configured to receive the bayonet tube and to seal against the flange at the seal. The bayonet coupler is fixedly mounted directly or indirectly to a hydrogen storage tank such that a longitudinal axis of the bayonet coupler is inclined a predetermined angle with respect to horizontal to prevent a substantial thermal gradient from forming at the seal.
Device equipped with tank
A device equipped with a tank, includes: the tank to be filled with a fuel gas; a valve mechanism provided in the tank; a receptacle with which a nozzle of a fuel gas filling device is connectable; a first filling path, an upstream end of the first filling path communicating with the receptacle; a second filling path, a downstream end of the second filling path communicating with the tank through the valve mechanism; and a storage container hermetically communicating between a downstream end of the first filling path and an upstream end of the second filling path, and storing foreign matter contained in the fuel gas, wherein the storage container is positioned vertically above the downstream end of the first filling path.
FLUID CONTAINER REFILLING SYSTEM
A method for filling a fluid container with a cryogenic fluid, the method including the step of reducing with a container temperature reducer a container temperature of the fluid container prior to adding the cryogenic fluid to the fluid container. The method can include additional steps, including: compressing with a compressor the cryogenic fluid based at least partially on the container temperature, controlling with a controller the extent that the compressor compresses the cryogenic fluid, cooling with a fin pack the cryogenic fluid, filtering with a filter the cryogenic fluid, analyzing with a fluid analyzer a fluid within the cryogenic fluid, monitoring with a water monitor a water content of the cryogenic fluid and/or monitoring with a fluid sensor a fluid property of the cryogenic fluid.
