A second tubing is connected to the compressor at one end of the second tubing and configured for connection to a second pipe of the gas line at an opposite end of the second tubing. Activation of the compressor draws the natural gas from the first pipe through the first tubing and delivers compressed natural gas to the second pipe through the second tubing.

Systems and methods for dockside regasification of liquefied natural gas (LNG) are described herein. The methods include providing LNG from a LNG carrier to a regasification vessel. The LNG may be regasified on the regasification vessel. The regasified natural gas may be discharged with a high pressure arm to a dock and delivered onshore. The regasification vessel may be moored to the dock. The LNG carrier may be moored to the regasification vessel or the dock.

The metering device detects seismic activity at the metering device. The metering device determines that the seismic activity exceeds a seismic threshold. The metering device, in response to determining that the seismic activity exceeds the seismic threshold, adjusts the reporting rate to an event reporting rate, and starts an event time period. The metering device, transmits communications indicating the measured resource flow to the external device at the event reporting rate during the event time period.

The plastic inner layer is provided in the plastic outer layer, and materials of the plastic inner layer and the plastic outer layer are a thermoplastic material. The wire winding layer is provided between the plastic inner layer and the plastic outer layer and bonded with the plastic inner layer and the plastic outer layer by a hot melt adhesive. The wire winding layer is formed by a plurality of wires spirally wound in left rotation or right rotation.
