Motor vehicle lighting and/or signalling device
An optical module for a motor vehicle lighting and/or signaling device, having an optical deflection element, a support to which the optical deflection element is fixed, the support comprises adapter fixing means capable of fixing an adapter to which a light source is fixed, and wherein the first optical deflection element comprises adapter indexing means arranged so as to be capable of positioning this adapter relative to the first optical deflection element on two separate intersecting axes.
Lighting device comprising spring element
The invention refers to a lighting device (18) comprising a light-emitting module (2) and an optical system. The optical system comprises a first reference face (16), wherein the first reference face (16) is configured to accommodate the light-emitting module (2); and at least one spring element (20) is provided for fixing the light-emitting module (2) to the optical system in a clamping position, wherein the at least one spring element (20) comprises a first spring section (26) configured to exert a spring force in a first spatial direction (f.sub.1) towards the first reference face (16) in the clamping position, wherein the at least one spring element further comprises a second spring section (28) configured to exert a spring force towards a second spatial direction (f.sub.2) in the clamping position, and wherein the second spatial direction (f.sub.2) is different from the first spatial direction (f.sub.1). The invention further relates to a method for fixing a light-emitting module (2) to an optical system.
Impact-absorbing vehicle headlamp system
A self-absorbent vehicle headlamp system including (i) a vehicle frame element that can be firmly connected to a vehicle; (ii) a vehicle headlamp housing displaceably held on the vehicle frame element, having at least one pin that is firmly connected to the vehicle headlamp housing, wherein the vehicle frame element includes at least one guide for receiving and linearly guiding the pin, wherein the pin is in engagement with the guide, so that the vehicle headlamp housing is guided by the pin being displaced along the guide and is thereby displaceable with respect to the vehicle frame element; (iii) at least one triggering element that can be mechanically connected to a bumper of a vehicle, and (iv) at least one triggering mechanism that is firmly connected to the vehicle frame element and is configured to receive the triggering element and the pin and to change at least as a function of the position of the triggering element, between a state (S1) blocking the pin and a state (S2) releasing the pin, wherein in the state (S2), the vehicle headlamp housing including the pin is displaceable with respect to the vehicle frame element.
Device for suspension of a lamp in a vehicle
A device for suspension of a lamp in a vehicle. The device includes a guiding means for guiding the lamp to move relative to the vehicle from a first position to a second position in case of an impact between the lamp and an object. The device further includes at least one energy absorber for counteracting movement of the lamp from the first position to the second position. The guiding means is arranged for guiding the lamp to move inwardly in a movement direction having a movement direction component in parallel with the X-axis while the movement of the lamp being counteracted by one said energy absorber, and to pivot about an axis being transverse relative to the X-axis and the Z-axis, while the pivot motion being counteracted by one said energy absorber, giving the lamp a different orientation in the second position in comparison to the first position.
Vehicle lamp base having integrally formed spring to bias reflector
A vehicle lamp capsule 32 having a base 34 having a spring 5 which, when lamp capsule 32 is installed, biases an inner surface of a vehicle lamp reflector 12. Spring 5 is monolithically formed with base 34 along with at least one reflector-locating structure on the base such as circumferentially extending exterior locating surface 44 and/or retaining keys 42. Base 34 and spring 5 may be molded of a plastics material. In other embodiments base 34 and spring 5 are made in one piece of sheet metal. The spring 5 formed unitary with the lamp base 34 meets regulatory requirements and avoids a risk of dislodgement of a conventional separate piece-part metal spring which could cause an electrical short when the lamp is installed in the field. The lamp capsule 32 is suitably an H13-style lamp.
