Lighting device
A lighting device includes: a light source having a light-emitting surface; a reflector having a reflective surface configured to reflect light emitted from the light source; and a lens on which light reflected by the reflective surface is incident. The reflective surface is composed of a portion of a spheroidal surface that includes a first focal point located on the light-emitting surface and a second focal point located between the reflective surface and the lens. The reflective surface intersects a major axis of the spheroidal surface. A value obtained by dividing a first distance, which is a distance between the first focal point and the second focal point, by a second distance, which is a distance between the first focal point and an intersection point of the reflective surface and the major axis, is 7 or greater.

The present headlight module is miniaturised and has a high rate of light utilisation.

A phosphor contains a crystal phase having a chemical composition Ce.sub.xM.sub.3-x-yβ.sub.6γ.sub.11-z. M is one or more elements selected from the group consisting of Sc, Y, La, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, and Lu. β contains Si in an amount of 50 mol % or more of a total mol of β. γcontains N in an amount of 80 mol % or more N of a total mol of γ. x satisfies 0<x≦0.6. y satisfies 0≦y≦1.0. z satisfies 0≦z≦1.0. The phosphor shows a maximum peak of an emission spectrum in a wavelength range of 600 nm or more and 800 nm or less and a first peak of an excitation spectrum in a wavelength range of 500 nm or more and 600 nm or less.
VEHICLE LAMP
Disclosed is a vehicle lamp including a pair of lamp modules configured to form a pair of left and right light distribution patterns by irradiation light therefrom. Each lamp module includes a first lamp unit that uses a light emitting diode as a light source and a second lamp unit that uses a laser diode as a light source, a pair of first light distribution patterns is formed by irradiation light from the first lamp unit, and a pair of second light distribution patterns, which is smaller and brighter than the first light distribution patterns, is formed by irradiation light from the second lamp unit. The first light distribution patterns are formed with a predetermined distance therebetween in a left-and-right direction, the second light distribution patterns are formed to partially overlap each other between the pair of first light distribution patterns and to partially overlap the first light distribution patterns.
WAVELENGTH CONVERSION ELEMENT, WAVELENGTH CONVERSION DEVICE, AND LIGHT-EMISSION SYSTEM
A wavelength conversion element is provided that has excellent thermal conductance and high luminous efficiency. The wavelength conversion element includes: a binder; a plurality of phosphor particles dispersed in the binder, the plurality of phosphor particles being configured to emit light with a prescribed wavelength under excitation light; and a plurality of voids dispersed in the binder, at least some of the plurality of voids including, on at least a part of an inner wall thereof, a first coating film formed from metal alkoxide.

This vehicle lamp is provided with a light guide body (21) which guides and emits light incident from a light source (20). The light guide body (21) has an incident surface (211) where light from the light source (20) is incident, an emission surface (213) which emits the guided light, and a reflective surface (212) which internally reflects light incident from the incident surface (211) towards the emission surface (213). The reflective surface (212) is configured from multiple adjacently arranged reflective surfaces (212), and on the boundary surface (217) of multiple reflective surfaces (212), there are reflective steps (218) that internally reflect light in a scattered or diffused state.

A light module for a headlight of a motor vehicle, the light module having: a circuit board having at least one illuminating device for emitting light, wherein the circuit board has a longitudinal extent along a Y-axis, a width extent, extending perpendicular to the longitudinal extent, along an X-axis, and a vertical extent, extending perpendicular to the longitudinal extent and the width extent, along a Z-axis; a reflector; and a heat sink on which the circuit board is fastened. The heat sink is fastened to the reflector via a first fastener in such a manner that the first fastener secures a first referencing structure and/or a second referencing structure of the reflector against the circuit board such that the at least one illuminating device is located in a reference position in the direction of the Y-axis and in the direction of the X-axis relative to the reflector.

The present disclosure relates to a vehicle lamp, and a vehicle lamp according to the present disclosure includes a first optical module that forms a first light distribution pattern using light irradiated from a first light source device, a second optical module that forms a second light distribution pattern using light irradiated from a second light source device, a third optical module that forms a third light distribution pattern using light irradiated from a third light source device, a movement part that is connected to the first light source device and moves the first light source device, a rod part connected to the second light source device and interlocked with the movement part to rotate the second light source device, and a driving part that provides a driving force to the movement part and the rod part.

A vehicle lamp includes: a light source that emits a light; an optical member including a lens that irradiates the light from the light source to a front of the vehicle lamp and forms a predetermined light distribution pattern including a plurality of regions; and a controller that, when an object outside the vehicle is detected, adjusts the predetermined light distribution pattern so as not to irradiate at least one first region including the object among the plurality of regions with the light. When the vehicle body is in a cornering state, the controller acquires inclination information of the vehicle body, determines whether there is a second region that does not exceed a reference line, based on the inclination information, and when determining that there is the second region, irradiates the second region with the light even when the object is included in the second region.

A forward projecting condensing and collimating optical platform enables the ability to more effectively utilize the light generated from a Lambertian light source. The optical system can effectively utilize light emitted from a 120-degree source viewing angle over a substantially large extended field of view. The optical system can project a high intensity light in a smaller packaging envelope. The optical design can be used for generation of hi-Intensity spot beams, fog lamps, head lamp low beams, head lamps, hi beams, a driving beam, and the like, while operating at a lower power input to equivalent optical systems.
