Lighting device
A lighting device includes a housing, a light emitting module, a press plate and a fixing member. The housing has a bottom plate, a base and multiple stopping portions. The base protrudes from the bottom plate, and has a top surface and an inclined surface. The stopping portions are arranged at the bottom plate and extend to a bottom portion of the inclined surface of the base. The light emitting module includes a light panel and multiple light emitting elements arranged thereon. The light panel leans on the inclined surface and stopped by the stopping portions. The press plate is located at the top surface, and presses against the light panel. The fixing member fixes the press plate at the top surface to cause the press plate to press the light panel downward, so as to fix the light panel on the inclined surface.
Underwater lighting apparatus
An underwater lighting apparatus includes a cofferdam having a cofferdam electrical connector rigidly mounted within the cofferdam at an inner end; a lighting unit sized and shaped to be mounted within the cofferdam and having a lighting unit electrical connector rigidly mounted at an inner end; wherein the lighting unit electrical connector is sized and shaped to directly connect with the cofferdam electrical connector to form a rigid connection between the cofferdam and the lighting unit. The lighting apparatus is beneficial in that both the cofferdam electrical connector and the lighting unit electrical connector are rigidly mounted.

A light flux controlling member includes a lens body and a cut part. The lens body and the cut part are an integrally molded article composed of a cured product of a liquid resin composition. The cut part extends outward from the entire circumference of the outer peripheral part of the lens body in plan view of the light flux controlling member. The cut part includes the outward-facing end surface bearing a blade mark or a melting mark. In the front-rear direction of the light flux controlling member, the distance between the bottom surfaces of the cut part and the lens body is 20 μm or more.
A LIGHTING UNIT AND LUMINAIRE
A lighting unit which comprises a lens arrangement over a LED module is provided. The lens arrangement comprises a plate having at least one lens integrally formed by the plate for positioning over a substrate of the LED module, and at least one magnifying component integrally formed by the plate. The LED module substrate has an inspection region which is inspected through the magnifying component, so as to enable determination of a spacing between the lens arrangement and the substrate by viewing an image of the marker arrangement created by the at least one magnifying component at a given viewing location. A luminaire is also provided, which luminaire comprises a housing and the lighting unit mounted within the housing, wherein the lens arrangement (10) forms the light output window of the luminaire.

A heatsink, a light-emitting diode (LED) module and a corresponding method of manufacture are described. A heatsink includes an electrically conductive heatsink core and an electrically insulating layer covering at least the first surface of the electrically conductive heatsink core. The electrically conductive heatsink core has a first pin that is integral with the electrically conductive heatsink core and protrudes from a first surface of the heatsink core. At least the first surface of the heatsink core is covered by an electrically insulating layer, which leaves at least portions of a lateral surface of the first pin exposed from the electrically insulating layer.

Apparatus providing beamforming and environmental protection for LED light sources. A lens apparatus is provided to protect an LED mounted on a substrate. The lens apparatus includes an alignment feature configured to align the LED to a selected position and a focusing region configured to form a selected beam pattern from light emitted from the LED when located at the selected position. The lens apparatus also includes a compression surface configured to compress the substrate to a heat sink to facilitate heat dissipation from the LED and a fastening feature configured to fasten the lens apparatus to the heat sink to provide an environmentally protective seal, so that when the lens apparatus is fastened to the heat sink the alignment feature aligns the LED to the selected position, the compression surface compresses the substrate to the heat sink, and the protective seal protects the LED from environmental conditions.
