MODULARIZED COMPONENT LIGHTING DEVICE
A lighting device assembly includes an outer housing having an inner volume and an inner surface at least partially surrounding the inner volume, a first open end and a second open end. At least one rail is provided on the inner surface of the outer housing. A first heat sink member is received within the first open end of the outer housing and secured to the at least one rail. A light source is attached to the first heat sink member. A cap attaches to the outer housing to cover the second open end. A second heat sink member holding one or more driver electronics modules connects to the light source. The second heat sink member is secured to the cap and is received within the second open end of the outer housing when the cap attaches to the outer housing.
Servicing a luminaire with an unmanned vehicle
A base unit (1), e.g. a luminaire, comprises fixation means (3, 5, 15) configured to fixate a module (11), e.g. a light module, in the base unit. The fixation means, e.g. comprising one or more protrusions (15), one or more recesses (3) and one or more magnetic field generators (5), is configured to release the module from the base unit upon detecting an unmanned aircraft (31) being docked with the base unit or the module.
LIGHTING DEVICE
A lighting device includes a light permeable body which has an aperture through which light enters the body. A light source is moveable relative to the body to enable the lighting device to adopt selectively one of a first configuration and a second configuration. In the first configuration, the light source is positioned over the aperture so that light emitted by the light source passes through the body before illuminating the room. In the second configuration, the light source is spaced laterally from the aperture so that the room is illuminated directly by light emitted from the light source.
LIGHTING DEVICE AND STAGE LIGHT FIXTURE COMPRISING A PLURALITY OF SUCH LIGHTING DEVICES
A lighting device produces scenic effects including a light source group; a light guide extending along a longitudinal axis and coupled to the light source assembly defining an optical path; a primary mirror arranged along the longitudinal axis facing the light source assembly to reflect the light beam from the light guide; and a secondary mirror facing the primary mirror to reflect the light beam reflected by the primary mirror towards an emission area surrounding the primary mirror, wherein a primary reflecting surface of the primary mirror has at least one first portion having a first hyperbolic shape or a first aspherical shape of even order and degree equal to or greater than four and a secondary reflecting surface of the secondary mirror has at least one second portion having a second hyperbolic shape or a second aspherical shape of even order and degree equal to or greater than four.
Illumination assemblies using magnetic attachment and activation
In a general aspect, an illumination assembly includes an article including a body having a first magnetic element with at least one electrically conductive surface. The illumination assembly also includes a light assembly including a housing, a second magnetic element, a light source, and a power source. A first terminal of the light source is electrically connected with a first terminal of the power source. The light assembly also includes a first electrical contact disposed on the housing and electrically coupled with a second terminal of the light source. The light assembly also includes a second electrical contact disposed on the housing and electrically coupled with a second terminal of the power source. Magnetically coupling the light assembly with the article, via the first magnetic element and the second magnetic element, electrically couples the first electrical contact with the second electrical contact to energize the light source.
System, method and apparatus for decorative assembly
A fixture can include a frame having a central portion that is open and unobstructed. Magnets can be coupled to the frame. An adhesive can be configured to bond the frame to a surface. A decoration can have a metal frame that is configured to detachably couple to the magnets of the frame. The decoration can detachably extend from the frame and the surface, such that it is secured to the frame only by magnetic force.
Water-proof illuminating device
An illuminating device has an illuminating assembly and a holding base. The illuminating assembly has a connection element mounted on a top of the illuminating assembly and has a threaded stub formed on and protruding from a top of the connection element. The holding base is connected with the illuminating assembly and has a base body and a nut. The base body a central hole, two fixing holes, and two fasteners. The central hole is defined through the base body and through which the threaded stub of the connection element extends. The fixing holes are defined through the holding base. The fasteners are mounted respectively through the two fixing holes and are adapted to be securely attached to a ceiling or a wall. The nut is screwed with the threaded stub on the connection element.
ILLUMINATION SYSTEM
The present invention is related to an illumination system that enables installation conditions to be simplified, such that the gap area of the wall, ceiling or floor wherein said illumination system is integrated is minimised, in addition to facilitating the insertion of the electrical contacts of the functional unit and enabling the concealment thereof to be carded out without modifying the conductive properties thereof, minimising all the functional elements arranged inside the gap of the wall ceiling or floor.
REMOVEABLE LIGHTING FIXTURE
A light fixture is disclosed. The light fixture includes: a mounting base, with a surface for interfacing with a wall; a fixture face plate; a decorative fixture element with a light socket; and a catch mechanism for securing the fixture face plate to the mounting base. The catch mechanism includes; at least one catch receiver, at least one catch aperture, and at least one catch insert. The mounting base is secured to a wall. The fixture face plate is secured to the mounting base when the at least one catch insert is inserted into the catch aperture and then rotated into the at least one catch receiver.
Apparatus and method incorporating glow-in-the-dark material to preserve power usage when creating light for dark environments
A lighting device, comprising a glow material; a light source, positioned to illuminate the glow material when the light source is activated; and a light source controller, for sequencing sufficient on and off activation of the light source to maintain activate the glow material over a period of time.
