MOUNT FOR A LIGHTING DEVICE

An example lighting device comprises a cover attached to a base plate, the cover includes a circumferential ledge. An example mount comprises: a central opening through which the cover of the lighting device extends, the central opening is bounded by a circumferential rim adapted to overlap the circumferential ledge of the cover. In some implementations, the mount further comprises a securing member on each side, a tiedown aperture in each corner, a plurality of magnets on the underside, or another suitable combination of these features. Also disclosed are methods of using the mount to secure the lighting device to an object or surface.

The device (100) has a switch (90) operatively connected to the light (30) to activate the light (30) when triggered.
