Lighting fixture mounting systems
Example embodiments provide lighting fixture mounting kits for mounting a flat panel lighting fixture to a mounting surface. The lighting fixture mounting kits may comprise a mounting portion (e.g., a mounting plate) and a lighting fixture. The mounting portion may be secured relative to a mounting surface and may comprise mounting catches. The lighting fixture may be secured relative to the mounting portion, and may comprise fixture catches configured to selectably engage the mounting catches. The lighting fixture may be slidable relative to the mounting portion between an engaged configuration in which the fixture catches are engaged with the mounting catches; and a disengaged configuration in which the fixture catches are disengaged from the mounting catches. When in the disengaged configuration, the lighting fixture is pivotable away from the mounting portion to facilitate access to a back portion of the lighting fixture.
LOW PROFILE LIGHT
A luminaire comprising a heat spreader and a heat sink disposed around and thermally communicates with the heat spreader. The heat sink forms a trim plate configured to be disposed completely external of a can light fixture or an electrical junction box. The luminaire also includes an optic securely retained relative to one of the heat spreader and the heat sink on one side of a plane defined by a lower surface of the trim plate and extends to the other side of the plane defined by the lower surface of the trim plate, as well as a light source disposed on the heat spreader and comprising a plurality of light-emitting diodes (LEDs). The plurality of LEDs are positioned entirely on one side of the plane defined by the lower surface of the trim plate. The light source is in thermal communication with the heat spreader.
HAND-HELD SPOTLIGHT
A hand-held spotlight, having: a housing provided with an accommodating cavity; a power supply box detachably disposed in the accommodating cavity; a switch base connected to the housing and provided with a first clamping block; and a cover body hinged with the housing, wherein the cover body is capable of covering an opening of the accommodating cavity to confine the power supply box within the accommodating cavity, and the cover body is provided with a second clamping block, which is clamped with the first clamping block when the cover body covers the opening of the accommodating cavity, thereby restricting the flipping of the cover body.
Light Engine for and Method of Simulating a Flame
An apparatus, system, and method for lighting effects, including simulating a flame. A three dimensional carrier includes an array of a plurality of light sources distributed on it. A control circuit coordinates on/off of the light sources in a manner to simulate a jumping flame. In one embodiment, the three dimensional carrier and LEDs are encapsulated in an at least partially light transmissive cover. This light modular engine includes a control circuit and an interface to electrical power. The system can include the light engine in a light fixture such as an architectural fixture. The methodology can include a sequence of on/off and brightness variations for the array of light sources.
Lighting assembly
A modular lighting assembly uses LED banks as the light sources. The assembly allows the power supply and LED banks to be independently replaced. The assembly uses a power supply that is separated from the LED banks and electrically connected to the LED banks with a plug connector that may be unplugged and plugged back in to allow the power supply or LED bank to be independently and readily replaced. The assembly provides for easy replacement of the different components of the assembly. One feature that makes the components easier to replace is that the light modules and/or the power supply may be carried by the housing that is removable from the base mount that is secured to a mounting structure such as a wall or ceiling.
Plant light supplementing lamp
A plant light supplementing lamp is provided. The plant light supplementing lamp includes an electronic ballast, a mounting bracket, a lamp support, lamp holders and a lamp shade; a number of the lamp holders is two, the lamp holders are respectively located at a top and a bottom of the lamp support, limiting plates are provided on a front side of a top of the electronic ballast, an adapter is clamped on an inner side of the limiting plate, sliding grooves are provided in left and right side surfaces of the adapter, and fixing grooves are provided in corners of the left and right side surfaces of the adapter.
Power Adapter of LED Light String Having Valley-fill Circuit
A power adapter of an LED light string having a valley-fill circuit contains: a casing and a plug fixed on the casing. The casing includes an energy-saving circuit board accommodated therein, wherein the casing further includes a connection portion which is electrically connected with a holiday light string, the energy-saving circuit board includes a wave filter, a rectifier, a valley fill circuit, and a transformer which are arranged from a voltage input end to a voltage output end of the energy-saving circuit board. The valley fill circuit is defined between the rectifier and the wave filter so as to enhance a conduction angle of a rectifying tube and to change input currents from a spike to a waveform close to a sine wave, hence a power factor is close to above 0.7 to reduce a total harmonic distortion and an input loss, thus achieving energy saving.
Light strip system and converter unit therefor
A light strip system for securing luminaire units and supplying them with power having an elongate support structure, especially at least one support rail for securing the luminaire units and power supply extending along the support structure for supplying the luminaire units with power. The power supply includes first lines which extend along the support structure and define a first power supply circuit (I), and second lines which extend over part of the length of the first power supply circuit (I) along the support structure and define a second power supply circuit (II) which is designed to be in electrical contact with the luminaire units, the first power supply circuit (I) being coupled to the second power supply circuit (II) by a converter unit which converts a first supply voltage available in the first power supply circuit (I) to a second supply voltage suitable for operating the luminaire units.
