LED illumination system for the interior of a refrigerated product display cabinet
A lighting system for providing uniform bright lighting of products within in a glass door refrigerated cabinet. The lighting system has a frame member with an angled wing extending therefrom that wraps around a side edge of a light-transmitting optical shield, and a LED lighting strip positioned between the frame member and the optical shield. The LED lighting strip has a plurality of spaced-apart LED lights mounted therealong with a coined reflective facet optic mounted around each LED light. The angled wing(s) reflects light emitted laterally outwards from the at least one LED lighting strip such that the light can be re-directed to evenly illuminate products in a refrigerated cabinet. The angled wing(s) also protects a user's fingers from cracking the plastic optical shield which can become brittle in the cool or cold temperatures of the refrigerated cabinet.
Signalling Beacon with Reflectors
A light projector for signalling high obstacles, having an elongate cylindrical lens, a linear light source in which the light projector has at least two reflectors and at least one of the reflectors is an upper reflector positioned above the horizontal plane of symmetry of the cylindrical lens and below an upper surface of the cylindrical lens, and at least one of the reflectors is a lower reflector positioned below the horizontal plane of symmetry of the cylindrical lens and above a lower surface of the cylindrical lens, the reflectors being configured to interrupt light rays from the light source that are oriented outside the elevation angular sector of the main flat light beam is disclosed.
Illumination devices including multiple light emitting elements
A variety of illumination devices are disclosed that are configured to manipulate light provided by one or more light-emitting elements (LEEs). In general, embodiments of the illumination devices feature one or more optical couplers that redirect illumination from the LEEs to a reflector which then directs the light into a range of angles. In some embodiments, the illumination device includes a second reflector that reflects at least some of the light from the first reflector. In certain embodiments, the illumination device includes a light guide that guides light from the collector to the first reflector. The components of the illumination device can be configured to provide illumination devices that can provide a variety of intensity distributions. Such illumination devices can be configured to provide light for particular lighting applications, including office lighting, task lighting, cabinet lighting, garage lighting, wall wash, stack lighting, and downlighting.
LIGHT EMITTING DEVICE AND HEADPHONE INCLUDING THE SAME
A headphone includes a housing, a light emitting device and a printed circuit board. The light emitting device is mounted in the housing. The light emitting device includes a luminous unit, and a light guiding unit disposed close to the luminous unit. The light guiding unit has a base portion, an incident surface formed at an inner surface of an inner end of the base portion, an emitting surface formed at an outer surface of an outer end of the base portion, a first refracting surface, a first reflecting surface, a second reflecting surface, a second refracting surface, a light transmitting column, a positioning wall, an upper buckling arm and a lower buckling arm. The printed circuit board is mounted in the housing.
NATURAL LIGHTING DEVICE
A natural lighting device is capable of controlling an angle of diffusion of sunlight reflected to a shaded area to form reflected light whose size and shape are suitable for a window of a household. The natural lighting device is installed in the vicinity of a building having a shaded area formed thereon to radiate sunlight toward a household located in the shaded area and includes a primary reflector configured to reflect sunlight incident thereon; and a secondary reflector configured to reflect the reflected light, which is reflected from the primary reflector, incident thereon, wherein the secondary reflector includes a secondary reflecting mirror having a curvature about an axis in a direction that intersects with the ground or an axis in a direction that is horizontal to the ground so that the reflected sunlight is not diffused in a horizontal direction or naturally diffused in a vertical direction.
Integrated ceiling device with mechanical arrangement for a light source
An integrated ceiling device includes a housing retaining an electronic assembly, a heat sink having a central opening, a light source coupled onto the heat sink, the housing is coupled with and disposed at least partly above the heat sink, and a central vertical axis of the housing aligns or is in proximity with the central opening of the heat sink.
PLANAR LIGHT SOURCE
A planar light source includes a light source, a light guide member, and a sectioning member. The light guide member has a light source placement part in which the light source is disposed and a section defining part having a groove surrounding the light source placement part. The sectioning member has light reflectivity and is disposed in the section defining part. A first portion in the section defining part that is furthest from a center of the light source in a plan view has a transmittance higher than a transmittance of a second portion in the section defining part that is closest from the center of the light source in the plan view.
System for projecting light elements generated from light of a laser
A system, comprising a light source configured to emit light; and a first component including a reflective surface configured to reflect the light as a plurality of light elements that are reflected onto a second component. The reflective surface may include a plurality of mirrors. Each mirror, of the plurality of mirrors, may be configured to reflect a portion of the light as a respective light element of the plurality of light elements. A first light element, of the plurality of light elements, may be reflected onto a first location of the surface. A second light element, of the plurality of light elements, may be reflected onto a second location, of the surface, that is different than the first location.
PLANAR LIGHTING DEVICE

LIGHTING DEVICE AND DISPLAY
A lighting device that includes a light source, a first optical element configured to convert light emitted from the light source into substantially parallel light, and a plurality of second optical elements arranged in a first direction. Each of the plurality of second optical elements has a light incident surface. Each of the plurality of second optical elements guides at least a portion of the substantially parallel light incident on the light incident surface in a second direction intersecting the first direction and guides another portion in the first direction.
