In an embodiment, the backlight unit includes a substrate, at least one light source on the substrate, a lenses placed over the light source, a reflection sheet in which at least one through hole corresponding to the lens is formed, and a reflection ring comprising an opening portion corresponding to the at least one light source, and placed between the lens and the substrate. In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, luminance uniformity of the backlight unit can be improved because the reflection ring surrounding the light source is included.
BACKLIGHT MODULE
A backlight module includes a light source array, a reflector module, and an optical film. The light source array includes a plurality of light sources. The light emitted from the light source can be refracted by the lens unit to obtain a specific light-output angle and uniformity. The reflector module includes a plurality of reflector units. Each reflector unit includes a flat portion, a first wall portion, and a corner wall portion, which have structures and arrangements designed to enable the light source to achieve a display effect of less shadows and better contrast.
LED illumination apparatus
An LED illumination apparatus according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes a substrate, a light source disposed on the substrate, a cover unit, wherein the cover unit is configured to cover the light source, which is disposed on the substrate, and a reflector which is configured to extend from the cover unit inside to the upper substrate, whereby a light generated by the light source illuminates an area below a bottom side of the substrate.
LED light distribution structure, light source module and lamp
Examples of the present disclosure disclose an LED light distribution structure, a light source module and a lamp. The LED light distribution structure includes a ring-shaped light distribution element and a plurality of LED chips; the ring-shaped light distribution element is provided with a light source cavity in a ring shape, and the light source cavity has a ring center and a center line surrounding the ring center in a ring shape; the plurality of LED chips are arranged in a ring shape in the light source cavity, each of the LED chips includes an LED and a chip substrate, and the LED is on the chip substrate; and LEDs on all the LED chips are uniformly arranged along a ring-shaped wiring line, the ring-shaped wiring line is in a concentric ring with the center line, and the ring-shaped wiring line is located inside or outside of the center line.
USING WHITE LEDS TO ENHANCE INTENSITY OF COLORED LIGHT FROM COLORED LEDS
The present disclosure describes light systems in which the intensity of base color LEDs configured to emit light within a target color region is increased using additional white LEDs and the emitted light is filtered so that a dominant portion of light passing through the filter at a particular viewing angle is within the target color region. The present disclosure also describes methods for forming a printed circuit board with an integral heat sink arrangement by depositing additional solder on solder pads that are not used to connect electronic components so that the additional solder acts as a heat sink.
Optical signaling system for a smart-home device
Various arrangements for light distribution incorporated as part of a device are presented. A circular light guide may be used that receives light from a plurality of light emitters that can be arranged in a circular pattern. A conical reflector may be used and may be positioned to reflect light emitted from the circular light guide onto an exterior of a case of the device. The conical reflector may reflect light such that light is reflected by the exterior of the case in the shape of a halo into an ambient environment of the device.
Reflector lamp with push-push adjustment assembly for varying a light beam angle thereof
A reflector lamp including a light source, a lens or a reflector arranged coaxially with the light source in a spaced-apart fashion, and a push-push adjustment assembly for varying a beam angle of the light beam in a push manner. The push-push adjustment assembly includes a frame coupled fixedly to the lamp, an actuator in operative connection with the lens or the reflector, wherein the actuator movably rests in the frame so that the movement of the actuator enables the lens or the reflector to slide relative to the light source thereby to provide variable axial spacing between the lens or the reflector and the light source, and a push-push latch mechanism coupled to the actuator and/or the frame to move the actuator in the frame in a push manner, and to latch the actuator in different latching positions of the frame.
Lighting apparatus
A lighting apparatus includes: a plurality of light sources; a first frame including a first reflection surface disposed inside of the light sources, the first reflection surface reflecting, in a forward direction, light emitted from the light sources; a second frame including a visor portion covering fronts of the light sources; and a diffuser disposed in front of a front surface of the visor portion with a distance left between the diffuser and at least a part of the front surface of the visor portion.
Managed illumination lightguide
A lighting system can comprise an edgelit panel, for example a lightguide that may have a panel or slab shape with an edge that receives light from an array of light emitting diodes extending along the edge. The lightguide can guide the received light towards an opposing edge of the lightguide and gradually release light to provide illumination. An optic can manage light that reaches the opposing edge of the lightguide, for example via softening, spreading, concentrating, or diffusing the light. The optic can be mounted to or integrated in the opposing edge of the lightguide.
AIRCRAFT ANTI-COLLISION LIGHT
A light source includes a circular light element having a light source diameter, and a reflector disposed at least partially within the circular light element, the reflector having a first end with a first diameter and a second end with a second diameter, wherein the first diameter is less than the light source diameter and the second diameter is larger than the light source diameter, the second end having a plurality of slits.
