Daylight redirecting window film employing embedded microstructures
A daylight redirecting window film having a layered structure with a total thickness of less than one millimeter and having a first optically transmissive film, a second optically transmissive film approximately coextensive with the first optically transmissive film, an intermediate layer of a relatively soft optically transmissive material disposed between the first and second optically transmissive films, a parallel array of linear three-dimensional structures formed in a space between the first and second optically transmissive films, a layer of an optically transmissive adhesive coating a surface of the first optically transmissive film, and a two-dimensional pattern of light scattering surface microstructures formed in an outer surface of the second optically transmissive film. The parallel array of linear three-dimensional structures defines a parallel array of linear channels, and each of the linear three-dimensional structures has a total internal reflection wall extending transversely through a portion of the layered structure.

A dichroic reflector is attachable to the pair of reflector rails.
Surgical Lighting Device for Fluorescent Imaging
This disclosure relates to a surgical lighting device for generating a spot of light on a surgical site for use in combination with a fluorescence imaging device. The lighting device comprises a support structure, a subsurface which may be coupled to the support structure to seal the lower surface of the device while allowing light to pass through and a plurality of light sources emitting white light and placed between the support structure and the subsurface. The device further includes a plurality of NIR (near infrared) filters, each NIR filter being associated with a light source and being configured to substantially prevent the transmission of wavelengths within a wavelength band from 680 nm to 900 nm, while minimizing the change in the color temperature of the light spot.

Thin laminar material for producing short wave infrared emission
A short wavelength infrared (SWIR) energy emitting system or material for producing SWIR energy from an emission source emitting electromagnetic energy. The SWIR energy system or material comprises a phosphor material, an electromagnetic energy blocking member, a substrate for delivering the system or material to an electromagnetic energy emission source, and optionally, a securing member. The SWIR energy system or material may be in the form of a tape, sheet, or other laminar material capable of producing short wave infrared emission when excited at wavelengths shorter than that of the emission.

LiDAR window integrated optical filter
Disclosed is a LiDAR window integrated optical filter that includes a window of a polymer material for absorbing a visible light band and transmitting a near-infrared band; and an upper reflective layer and a lower reflective layer formed on the upper surface and the lower surface of the window. The upper reflective layer and the lower reflective layer may be formed in a thin film including titanium dioxide (TiO.sub.2) and silicon dioxide (SiO.sub.2).
High-efficiency translucent solar module assembly
A solar module assembly includes a frame having an upper portion encompassing an area and a mid portion disposed below the upper portion. A plurality of solar panels is arranged in a string, sandwiched between two transparent panes forming a single string panel. The solar panels occupy less than the area of the upper portion. Each of the plurality of solar panels has a pair of opposing edges. A reflector is mounted on the mid portion to reflect light selectively.
Near-infrared reflective film and near-infrared reflector provided with the same
The near-infrared reflective film has, on a base material, a high refractive layer containing a water-soluble polymer and a metal oxide particle having a refractive index higher than the refractive index of the water-soluble polymer, and a low refractive layer containing a water-soluble polymer and a metal oxide particle having a refractive index lower than the refractive index of the water-soluble polymer are alternately laminated individually in two or more layers. The total number of the layers of the high refractive layer and the low refractive layer is n. The total film thickness of the component layers from the region of n/2 to the base material is Σd1, and the total film thickness of the component layers from the region of n/2 to the outermost layer is Σd2. The film thickness ratio Σd1/Σd2 is from 1.05 to 1.80.
